Shan Jiang is the illustration powerhouse nestled within the fantastic team of people at I love Dust. He’s got one hell of a body of work including a poster for the Alamo Drafthouse series of Star Wars posters.
Lifelongfriendshipsociety, whom I’ve worked with in the past and thoroughly enjoyed the experience, have updated both with a new website and reel to reflect their efforts in 2010 and 2011. From all appearances it seems they are still totally kicking ass, having a damn good time doing it and still being the quirky, fun and genuinely creative people that they are.

This fantastic ongoing music video saga for producer ‘Deceit’ was created by scanning, art working then animating the pages of Mark Millar’s ‘Nemesis’ Comics. It’s a true example of what can be achieved by marrying paper to screen.
Self-taught artist and illustrator Ben Heine has posted a wonderful gallery on Flickr that he is calling ‘Drawing Vs Reality‘ where he pits his handskills in a trompe l’oeil affair with simple photography. It’s a smart yet simple idea that Heine has pulled off with an enormous display of imagination and it’s generating a strong buzz.

This minimalist poster set created by designer Andrea Gallo has caused a stir around the creative blogosphere in recent days. Probably because it’s clean, smart, cool and easy to digest. The series features 6 of the designers favorite architects along with minimal stylized graphic interpretations of famous examples of their architecture.
There are some strange things happening in what could only be described as a ‘bio-psychedelic’ romp in the video for Warm Ghost’s single ‘Open the Wormhole in Your Heart’ directed by the strange minds of Brandon LaGanke & John Carlucci. The video made the official selection of the SXSW film festival with all of it’s glowing, gooey and slithery strangeness.
