Talented painter and illustrator Yuta Onoda has updated with some new work to his painting section. For the uninitiated, get familiar. He’s talented.
Onetime graphic designer (and still when the occasion calls for it [see above]) and now illustrator, Mark Howe has updated with a slew of fun projects.
“Lizzy Stewart graduated with a first class degree from Edinburgh College of Art in 2009. She is a fan of pencils, cardigans and Russian history. And also bears. She is also one half of the superexcellent duo Sing Statistics with designer Jez Burrows.”
Her website is named after a song by the band The National.
David Schleinkofer mostly paints fine art and landscape piece now. He explains in his Flickr profile that painting for Sci-Fi dried up in the 90’s with the introduction to the computer. He prefers to work by hand and finds the computer too frustrating of a medium. He loves the tactility of paint. Here’s to hoping we could get him to pick up that brush and knock out some space men again.

The talented illustrator/designer, Miika Saksi has updated his website and portfolio once again. His work is very digital/collage but he still manages to retain something tactile and contemporary within his imagery that makes it very contemporary. Love it.

Adrian Van Delzel makes some unique monsters using (I assume) Illustrator, which is impressive when you consider both the color work and the amount of detail in each image.
Illustrator C.F. Payne’s imagery has graced the covers of Time Magazine, Readers Digest, Sports Illustrated, The New York Times Book Review and Sunday Magazine, MAD Magazine, der Spiegel, U.S. News and World Report, The Atlantic Monthly, Texas Monthly, Boys Life and more.
His work as been exhibited at The Cincinnati Art Museum, The National Portrait Gallery, The Norman Rockwell Museum, The Society of Illustrators Museum of American Illustration, The Selby Gallery at Ringling College of Art and Design and numerous college and university galleries.

Ricardo Fumanal was born in Huesca in 1984 and did a stint in Barcelona before moving on to Madrid. He has some beautiful drawings, inspired by fashion and film, in his portfolio.
Tabor Robak isn’t afraid to dive headlong into the skullzone and crank those glow filters and that’s just fine by me. Make it metal and make it shine. Be sure to get up on that sketchbook action too (some fun stuff in there).
Chris Pell is a 21 year old recent graduate of Brighton University. He is currently available for commissions and has a very unique and diverse portfolio ranging from animation, photography to illustration. There is some interesting religious intonations in his work that definitely peak the curiosity as to their meaning.

The talented people behind Vault 49 relaunched their website this morning and damn does it look sexy. They have several new projects in their portfolio as well. I love that they don’t wait for client projects to experiment and keep working toward generating new ideas. They continually grow their arsenal of illustration techniques.
