Now that Mike Slane has joined me in the Ctt Studio I have been paying a lot closer attention to motion graphics, especially considering how involved I am going to become in that side of the creative business. This weekend I nerded out with another friend of mine in the motion/animation/film industry playing God of War 3 since my wife is out of the country for a couple of weeks. Seemed like a good time to act like a kid again since I rarely get the chance. I was immediately blown away by the opening title sequence of the game and discovered it was created by the motion/animation studio Imaginary Forces. It’s a beautiful piece of animation and it continues throughout the game stringing the story together as you play. Creating the sequences must have been a huge project and IF executed it amazingly. God of War 3 is just the tip of the iceberg as far as their portfolio goes and the rest of their work is definitely worth checking out.
