The Telegraph has posted a series of coloured scanning electron micrograph (SEM) photographs of insects including the image of a maggot above with protruding eyes and fangs. I always thought maggots were disgusting but now I know they are just homely little vampires trying to get their slurp on. Just look at that desperate little face and you know he’s probably thinking, “hey, is that poo I smell?”
