Barely having caught their breath from pulling their heads out of their collective asses to uncover the Madoff scandal, the Securities and Exchange Commission saw even further past their corrupt noses to discover yet another case of unbelievable fraud to the note of 8 billion dollars. This time the accused is the Standord Financial Group. Can someone please explain to the shell-shocked public how any of this happened under the watch of government officials?
