I entered a post about Jan Feliks Kallwejt on my last blog but he recently updated with a slew of new work that is worth more than a mention. There is some really fantastic work in his book if you are a vector maniac like I am. He is able to whittle his images down to simple forms that make them quickly digestible while maintaining a simple symbolic visual iconaclism.
Here is the artist in his own words from his newest website:
“My name is Jan Feliks Kallwejt. Im an illustrator and graphic designer currently based in Warsaw
For few years i worked as designer and art director for interactive agencies in Warsaw and Hamburg. Then i quit full time job and now run one-man studio focusing on illustration, apparel design and personal projects.
My work is about finding a form which is simple, but not banal, and rich with symbolics. Hence many of my works are strictly iconographic in their essence.“
