Budi Satria Kwan has had many designs printed through Threadless and for good reason. Kwan is highly skilled at producing creative imagery based more on conceptual execution as opposed to leaning on a unique individual style. That opens the door for a broader audience. Just the kinda thing that works well on Threadless.

Ginette Lapalme lives and works in Toronto, Canada. She is part of the silkscreen studio Halo Halo and is also a member of the Woweezonk comic collective. She has a hand-on somewhat retro-inspired style that incorporates watercolor with great effect. The painted sticks above are for her Threadless shirt submission. Very nice.

Alvaro Arteaga Sabaini A.K.A. Alvarejo was born in Spain but now lives in Chile. He has had several clever illustrations published on Threadless t-shirts and is looking for a gig in the states. Hire this guy already.

The latest issue of Faesthetic is now available and it features a really nice cover by one of my favorite painters, Mars-1. Dustin, AKA Upso is still curating the book and he always does a great job. The price of the book is really affordable and you can’t miss with this one.

Not that I want to take attention away from my own art prints but Threadless has some very nice slightly larger and more expensive prints at their website.

Aled Lewis is the guy behind some of my all time favorite Threadless t-shirts. Everyone he produces seems to get printed and the reason is because how well they visually communicate a concept. They are all brilliant. I was excited to finally discover his work.

Word on the street is that there is a new issue of Faesthetic out there so think faest. I was lucky enough to be in issue number 7 (the luckiest numbered issue if anything). There is always something interesting in Faesthetic guaranteed. It is now supported by Threadless as well which means there are going to be a lot more issues now so that is also very exciting. I was lucky enough to meet Faesthetic curator and founder, Dustin last year at an art show here in Denver. I actually met him and his wife and they were both wonderful people. Dusting is sincerely just a really nice guy who loves art all the way down to his bones and does all he can to support and perpetuate creativity. So, if anything, buy and issue to support him because he deserves it.
Congratulations on the support from Threadless Dustin.
