Photographer Steve Poxson creates some of his imagery in an unusual way. ‘In the age of digital photography Poxson is reinventing this form by emulating the early processes of the photogram.’ He places his subject matter on a flatbed scanner to create super high resolution image patterns of things that people may find unsettling to look at. Things like mice, pieces of meat and bugs. It’s an interesting approach that has garnered some attention for Poxson as his work was nominated by CR for the Best Degree Show Work of 2007.
