‘Haunting’ is the obvious word that comes to mind when trying to describe the images of photographer Todd Hido but it may not do them justice. There is something more there working beneath the service that seems to point towards some sort of post-industrial emptiness. Hido is highly educated having attended Tufts University in Massachusetts, Rhode Island School of Design and California College of Arts and Crafts receiving both a B.F.A. and an M.F.A. His work has been exhibited the world over.

“Ari Weinkle is unsure how to categorize himself. He enjoys working on the computer, mainly creating abstract, typographic, forms freefalling in space. He also enjoys creating microcosoms and the occasional cubo-mesh-portrait. But, he also has a passion for graphic design and concise communication. As such, he is currently studying the subject at the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence.”

Exceptional work for someone still in school. Keep your eye out for this emerging talent.
