Been a long long time since I dropped in on ole Siggi but it’s always rewarding to check in on what he’s been up to. I am absolutely loving this new image for Little White Lies cover about last year’s film ‘The Master’.

Icelandic illustrator Siggi Eggertsson has made a large update to his portfolio. If you follow design and illustration (as I am sure you do), his name really needs no further introduction as his highly recognizable geometric vector style has graced the cover of many a creative magazine in the last 2 years.
Comments from Siggi Eggertsson:
“This is a video that is made from over 400 images that I created from 2003-2009. Bits and pieces from commercial, rejected and personal projects. I had been collecting all those images to use in a completely different project, but then discovered that they could look great in animation too. After painful days in After Effects, fighting with all those 400 layers (and nearly killing my computer), the video was complete.”

Graphic Artist, Siggi Eggertsson puts his hip little muted color pixelated blobs into motion and they still look cool as all get out. Crossover talent.
Siggi Eggertsson has updated his portfolio with some really nice new projects. He definitely has a cool style. You can’t argue with that.
Big Active has had a new site online for a few months now which I posted to the old site and blog. They are worth posting again, however because their enormous portfolio just keeps expanding. Now with their Illustrator Siggi Eggertsson providing the design for the new Gnarles Barkley album, their influence keeps spreading. If you were curious who was responsible for the brilliant art for Beck’s last album, wonder no more because it was also Big Active. Spend some time on their site because every click is rewarded by something new, original and inspiring.
