“Official music video for “Everytime” by Oi Va Voi [myspace.com/oivavoi]
Video made by Katarzyna Kijek & Przemysław Adamski.
Video made with shredding machine. Every third frame of the footage was printed, shredded and shot three times blended with adjacent frames by different stripes configuration.”
Wow, the amount of work that must have gone into this.
Passion Pit’s latest video for the first single off of their upcoming LP entitled, ‘Manners’ dropping May 19th. They are on a roll. Great music in my humble opinion and a great video.
“The latest ep from Friends of Friends is Daedelus and Jogger (with artwork by Kozyndan). This song taken from Daedelus’ 3 included is a sort of whimsical steam-punkish musing. Lots of fun light filters and monome! fofmusic.net for more information on the music and elistonberg.com for more on the director.”
This is the new music video for Abe Vigoda titled, “Don’t Lie”, from their PPM release, Reviver. Apparently they are building up quite a reputation in the L.A. music scene from what I have heard anyway.
For more info on the band (who really kick ass) you can go here. Might I suggest a little iTunes download perhaps?
This is their latest video for “No One Does It Like You,” produced by the Directors Bureau, directed by Patrick Daughters and Marcel Dzama, and featuring costumes and sets designed by Dzama. The video recently premiered at MoMA on March 24 as part of the PopRally event “No One Does It Like You.”
This is the first single and video (and song on the actual album tracklist) from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs latest album release ‘It’s Blitz!’ The concept is that all the world is your stage. I think my favorite part is the behind the stage subtitled audio dubbing. That and the fact that Karen O looks like a million bucks. Celebrity has been good for her.
As for the song, well it’s pop-rock at it’s lip-smacking sweetest.
New single from N.A.S.A. featuring Kanye West, Santigold and Lykke Li. The video was directed, animated and produced by Three Legged Legs. There are some good moments on the album but overall it is kind of ho hum. Just my opinion though.
Comments Off on Sebastien Tellier – KilometerMusic
Sebastien Tellier is a French pop singer who just embodies what I think (though I have no firsthand experience because I have never been there) what a French rockstar should be all about. Sexy girls in panties, gyrating hot dogs, beard, long hair, partying hard and singing in English of course. It could be interpreted as cheese but I will eat that cheese any day smothered over my freedom fries.
Wow, I am just continually blown away by Sigur Ros. I have to see them live in concert next time they come to Denver. If they are that good live then I have been missing out. They just sound amazing.
“A trip across Paris in a van. Lost drumsticks. A cafe you’d never expect to visit before the age of 60. An hour of waiting, and then, voilà–a few notes on the harmonium, a grand piano, a heavenly voice. Sigur Ros on a Take Away Show.”

Apparently, since I missed it because I am a nine to fiver, We Have Band was the talk of the town at this year’s SXSW. So let me introduce you if you were like me and have yet to hear. This is the video for their current single ‘Oh!’ directed by Tom Ellis at Last Seagull.
I got my hands on this track a quite a while back and just realized today there is a video for it. Pure happiness in this tune. It’s hard not to like it. Hang on to this one for some summer party play.
Can Karin Dreijer Andersson do any wrong? I am just enthralled by every note she carries. She is like a new and darker version of Bjork in terms of her level of musical creativity and originality combined with the level of creatives who flock to her helping visualize her unique sound.
This is the new single and video from her solo project Fever Ray. The video was directed by Martin de Thurrah.

This is the video for Bloc Party’s ‘Intimacy Remixed’ album due out in early May. This single is releasing on April 27th. The video was directed by Hiro Murai. The art direction and cinematography is gorgeous in my humble opinion.
The art direction and photography in this one is pretty damned nice, I am on the fence though about the song (probably best enjoyed with psychedelic drugs). Just a suggestion though, not condoning anything.
