Annie Wu left central Florida to attend the Maryland Institute College of Art and graduated magna cum laude with a BFA in Illustration in 2010. She now resides in Baltimore and has since filled her Flickrfolio with some wonderful illustration work.

Baltimore native and current resident Eric Paltell has some fun, lyrical and surreal photographs in his Flickr-folio. I absolutely love the series of what appears to be nighttime snow photos on the first page of his portfolio. The resulting compositions and the light reflection on the snow flakes are just amazing.

Artist Ryan Browning is based in Baltimore and has some really interesting work consisting of hex-like wooden structure sculptures as well as what I guess I would describe as psychedelic surrealist landscapes with a strong emphasis on geometric structures. All and all there is some really striking images in his body of work that definitely provoke the imagination.

Just received word that good friend, Tami Churns has a new website put together – it is gorgeous! The site itself is a true breath of fresh air, and the work that’s featured makes me endlessly jealous. Just another taste of the kind of design that’s coming out of Baltimore right now.
I’m telling you… look out.

Good friend of mine, Benjamin Bours recently redesigned his website with some pretty slick work. There is a lot of fresh talent coming out of Baltimore this year, and Ben is at the helm. I’m sure we will be seeing a lot more of his work, so keep an eye out.
