FITC 2013 Titles

Comments Off on FITC 2013 TitlesMotion Graphics

“For FITC Amsterdam 2013, we created these titles based on the creative designed by mr Bradley G Munkowitz (aka GMUNK)
Since Bradley was already working on the creative for the print campaign of FITC Amsterdam 2013, and we loved his design work, we decided to step in and give FITC a complete and cohesive visual package instead of visually creating something completely new or different.

And so here it is.. our “Pyradical” main titles for FITC Amsterdam 2013. Pure disco!”

Follow the Sun

I missed this little diddy by MK12 for FITC. It’s pretty amazing if you visit the little micro-site for the piece and watch the making of and realize that they cell animated the piece. I am always impressed and amazed by motion shops that turn the key from 3d and After Effects into full on cell animation. It’s not an easy thing to do and MK12 did it in style.

The Last Advertising Agency on Earth

Comments Off on The Last Advertising Agency on EarthAdvertising

This sharp little video was produced by FITC, Saatchi & Saatchi Canada, Lunch, and Tool. From my experience and perspective as of late, this is dead to rights as far as the message communicated about the future of the outmoded advertising agency model. It will be interesting to watch as the next decade unfolds as to whether or not this will prove to be true.

UPDATE: SORRY BUT WE HAVE OUR 2 WINNERS ALREADY.

I have two free tickets to FITC’s Pause NYC event next week. All you need to do is answer the following question correctly in an email sent to hire[at]changethethought.com:

“What was Mark Romanek’s first feature film and who was the lead actor in that film.”

The first two people to email the correct answer, your name and email address will receive the tickets. 1 ticket per person only. So two people will win. I must have the answers, names and email addresses in to FITC by Wednesday this week to confirm the tickets, so act fast or miss your chance.

This is going to be a great event for anyone involved in the motion graphics side of the creative industry so don’t miss a chance at a free seat, especially if you already live in New York City.

Here is a little more about the event:
FITC is on the move with an imaginative new event for the broadcast and film community. PAUSE: Ideas in Motion debuts November 10 – 11, 2008 at the BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Centre in NYC. From 30-second commercial spots to feature films and experiential design, PAUSE NYC examines the concepts, techniques and principles that drive the world’s leading creative studios.

The two-day event features 12 one-hour presentations, a panel discussion, special screenings, and nightly socials as only FITC can deliver. Confirmed presenters at release time include: BTRY, Brand New School, BUCK, Digital Kitchen, GMunk, HUSH, Joseph Kosinski, MK12 and UFO.

PAUSE NYC is open to anyone who works with 3D and motion graphics technologies — whether After Effects, Combustion, Maya, Motion, or a combination of these and other bold new toolsets. Delegate passes range in price from $59 to $249 US (Student and Regular). Early bird discount rates apply now through October 10, 2008. Go to www.pausenyc.tv for details or to register.
