Young illustrator Gavin Potenza has put up several new examples of his illustration work since I last dropped in on him a long while back. Some of which are definitely worth checking out.

Gavin Potenza and Elizabeth Meyer have partnered to launch a new studio called Script and Seal with a focus on experimental brand development. They have amassed a small portfolio of work and have already worked for Warp Records, The New Statesman, Oregon State University, AOL, Good Magazine, Redwood Publishing, Men’s Health, and Zoe NYC Swimwear.
I wrote about the unusual work of Gavin Potenza several months back but just kind of rediscovered his talent today. I love that some of his work provokes immediate imagination. I don’t think there is a lot of new work in his portfolio but it looks as though he may have updated the site since I last checked in.
Gavin Potenza has created some stunning, minimal and classic work using clean typography, clean lines and lots of lovely negative space. His work definitely roused the sleeping design nerd in me. It is equally nice to see he is based out of the friendly city of Portland, Oregon.
