WARNING: And I am serious here, be careful watching this if you have epilepsy or prone to seizures. This is one of those videos that really could send you into shock (no I am not being sarcastic).
Other than that, enjoy.

Pretty wild 80’s-inspired video for industrial shock rockers Mindless Self Indulgence. A little jarring but pretty damn cool.
Discovered via Surfstation, who is still going strong after all these years.
It doesn’t get much weirder than this video for Black Moth Super Rainbow’s ‘Sun Lips’ but that is probably just the way they like it. The song is off of their album ‘Dandelion Gum’. I have been listening to the album a lot lately while I work because it helps me get into the zone. The video is definitely strange and so is BMSR but you have to give the music a chance. Let it in. Trust me, it gets better with every listen.
You can learn more about BMSR at their website and if you dig it they also have a new project out under the name Tobacco (the album is titled, ‘Fucked Up Friends’) that is also worth picking up.

I was reading about Kris Moyes this morning at Booooooom and stumbled across his video for The Presets at Vimeo. I really like The Presets but I think I like the video even more. Moyes work is really amazing.
If you want to learn more about The Presets you can visit their website here.
Sorry, the video is actually titled ‘Soon We’ll be Found’. My wordpress headline feature doesn’t allow for special characters which sucks occasionally in a critical instance like this. Oh well.
Anyway, I have been looking for this video for a long time and only now realized it was on Vimeo two months ago. Sia is fascinating. I recently saw her on Letterman and kept trying to remind myself to post something about her. I saw a link to the video on Booooooom today and thought I had better post something.
“Universal Music commissioned Wyld Stallyons to produce a music video for Irish indie outfit, The Blizzards’ new single The Reason.
Taking the lyrics as our inspiration, we took the germ of an idea from the singer of the band and combined it with some thoughts of our own about unrequited love and giant monsters destroying a city. We blended 3D and 2D animation to create a strange, monochromatic world for our characters to inhabit; and thanks to the power of Relentless energy drinks and our ability to go without sleep for days, the video was turned around in record time.”
“This video uses a mathematical formula based upon an image Escher did (The Print Gallery), known in these days as the “Droste Effect”. It was made entirely using a Digital Reflex Camera, Canon’s Mark III which captures up to 115 continuous pictures, at 10 fps.”
