Bella is a new typeface drawing inspiration from Herb Lubalin designed by Rick Banks AKA ‘Face37‘ available exclusively at Hype for Type. I gotta say I think it is quite possibly one of the most attractive typefaces I have seen hit the market in a long time. The letterforms and the ampersand are absolutely exquisitely designed. I am itching to get my hands on a copy. It’s a truly gorgeous alphabet.

Rick Banks is a soon-to-be graduate of the Cumbria Institute of Arts and he already has some strong work in his portfolio. He was kind enough to email his work in today and I was compelled to post it since he hit my Kubrick soft spot.

Face 37 belongs to Rick banks and he has some clean, crisp and tasty typography on display. He even screened his own super design nerd Helvetica t-shirt. I’d rock that bad boy.
