W+K Shanghai designer Sally Zou has had her hands on some nice projects running from motion through design and illustration for clients like Nike.

Genki Ito joined W+K Tokyo Lab in 2004 working on projects for Google, Nike and PlayStation. He’s the recipient of several design awards and has worked in several mediums of art and design. Talk about an unusual reel.
W+K Studio (Weiden and Kennedy) have a special project going on to help raise money for Mercycorps to help with the Haitian relief effort titled ‘Hand Pulled for Haiti’. You can purchase the posters via the W+K Studio online store. There are some nice silkscreen posters up for purchase and the money goes to a good cause. Kudos to W+K for allowing their people to engage in participating in a project to make a difference. The more I learn about W+K, the more I think it must be a pretty cool place to work.
I received this note in my email today:
“GrandArmy is now part of a new group that we call Attack. We teamed up with Wieden+Kennedy New York to form the new agency within the agency, and our debut project is a result of a collaboration with Shinichi Maruyama and MNDR. Editing by Jamie Carreiro.”
The video that begins playing onload at the Attack website is a beautiful work and the selected song really carries the video. Beautiful work.
“We Have Band – You Came Out (Official Music Video). Directed by David Wilson in very special collaboration with Fabian Berglund and Ida Gronblom from Wieden + Kennedy. Produced by Blinkink. Shot over 2 days and stop frame animated from 4,816 still images without a single moment of video footage! Take a look at our Flickr page to see every single frame uploaded in high res – flickr.com/photos/39167181@N06/.”
Wow. A lot of work must have gone into this. You can also watch the making of here.
Legendary advertising agency Weiden and Kennedy has relaunched the website for their London branch. Amazing and intelligent work goes without saying. You can’t miss with W+K.
I have really been digging ad giant’s Weiden and Kennedy’s latest work for Nokia. The commercial above is pretty nuts.
