‘Manifesto Fragments’ is a projects spearheaded by Tendril Design and Animation that was originally conceived in order to find and channel new inspiration as to what attracted Tendril to the motion and animation industry in the first place. The project is playing out as bits of a visual manifesto with each part being able to stand on it’s own while also working as a part of the manifesto whole. The first in the series is above and is entitled ‘Seed’.

Swedish motion design studio Upper First has been cranking out some noteworthy projects lately including the experimental music video above for Mille shot in collaboration with photographer David Einar. The use of mannequins as a canvas for video projection is super clever.
“The West Lobby is a kinetic space, centered around 8 giant central columns wrapped with mirrors and LCD screens. Rockwell Group’s LAB installed 384 displays on the columns and 26 behind the registration desk to create a platform for a variety of customized immersive digital experiences in the space. Off this lobby is the dream-like Vesper bar with a ceiling covered in metal mesh to look like a cloud, and shimmering silvers and whites throughout the space.”

The infamous 123 Klan has posted a new show reel for 2011. They are still on top of their game and owning their style after what constitutes a very long time in this industry.
Onesize has updated with a new reel that is mind-numbingly awesome and balls-to-the-wall inspiring. We are hoping to one day be doing and accomplishing a similar aesthetic but remain enormously moved by their work.
