Photographer Robert Charbonnet loves the little things about women that make them the most sensual creatures on Earth. He loves things like their hair, lips and eyes. I love those things too, so it was hard for me not to appreciate his work. I think I need to learn how to be a photographer.

“Bonjour! I am a french graphic designer and art director who graduated first class degree in graphic design from Penninghen (Esag) in 2007, and directly founded his freelance practice in Paris, France. I also studied at Willem de Kooning Academie, in Rotterdam, Netherlands. I work on an eclectic range of projects mostly in music, cultural and media areas, includind print design like poster, books, identity, illustration, records sleeves, type design, but also motion design such as videos, clips, animations, titles. I’m a freelance mostly, for both commissions & collaborations.”
There is just some seriously amazing photography at MadeinPhoto.fr. Seriously, you can spend a solid hour their just sifting through an archive of compelling images. Almost everything there is amazing. And yes, it is all oh-so-very French. By that I mean artistic and beautiful.

Fascinating sculptures.
There is some nice and original design work in the portfolio of French graphic designer Carole Gautier.
There is some very very nice typography in the portfolio of graphic designer Thomas Huot Marchand.
There is some wildly experimental work particularly with typography in the Portfolio of French designer/art director Merci Bernard.
Apparently the French illustration collective Jean Spezial recently relaunched their website. They have produced come fabulous work in the past and the work on the new site is no exception. The piece above based off of a painting by Hieronymus Bosch is fantastic.
Interesting work from Patrick Lallemand and Pierre Delmas Bouly at Supercript². Can’t tell you much beyond that because I don’t speak French.
There are some pretty hot vector illustrations and t-shirt designs on display at the website of France-based MEGA.
Pierre Magnol aka Kurtzmedias and Pierre Fabre have partnered to start a new motion-design studio called Gkaster – their brand new motion-design studio. They just launched their new website featuring their motion real and they already have some impressive work on display.

Really amazing images abound in the portfolio of French Illustrator/Artist Antoine Helbert. His superhero series is awesome.
There is a lot of candy in the portfolio of Paris-based graphic designer Julien Rivoire who labors under the name questionable name Bastard Graphics. It gets a little saccharin at times but there are some notable images wedged in between. Case in point are the images above. Graphic design can be a lot of fun when it doesn’t take itself too seriously and there are some good times lurking at Bastard Graphics. I am always a sucker for bright glowing candy colors on black. That’s probably pretty obvious looking at my own site.
Peter And Wendy is a graphic design studio based in Paris. They enjoy a close relationship with their clients and approach each project with a unique process. They produce a variety of media in print, publishing, exhibition and event identity and corporate identity.
Ill Studio is a very talented group of individuals comprised of Léonard Vernhet, Thomas Subreville, Nicolas Malinowsky, Thierry Audurand, Sébastien Michelini, Pierre Dixsaut, Harold Urcun, Artus de Lavilléon, David Luraschi and Fred Mortagne. The French group collaborates on projects together combining their strengths in graphic design, photography, typography, illustration, video and motion design. The studio offers an environment where the member’s complementary influences converge where they can share influences and work collectively or individually.
I was pretty excited about how much completely random awesomeness is in their collective portfolio. Click on every single button to view every single page because all of their work is cool. Cool is the proper word here too.
