Wow! Talk about epic stop motion work. More below…

Here is a wild stop-motion animation piece created for Hilary Hahn and Hauschka’s single “Bounce Bounce” from their album Silfra.
Also, you can check out this short film about the process involved in the creative of this crazy video as directed by Danny Gregory and Tommy Kane.
And here’s a couple more process links while we are at it here and here.
Marcel Schindler brings the work of Hemingway to life via some clever stop motion. That wasn’t a complete sentence. Sorry Hemingway. Damn it another incomplete sentence. There I go again.
Webster Colcord is a master of all things animated, both analog and digital. He’s worked on Iron Man, Minority Report, and Live Free or Die Hard. However, stop-motion animation is definitely where his skills shine. Mad Doctors of Borneo is a series he started way back in 1993. He says he’ll probably finish it when he retires. If so, I hope he plans on retiring soon. I’d love to see more.
Directed by creative duo Sean and Lisa Ohlenkamp, “The Joy of Books” is a nice little stop motion piece that ponders the question, “Just what do books do when we go home at night?”
So a few people were involved in the making of this short film. Just a few. You can see all of them below.

A 7 minute animated film by Isaac King that uses both stop motion and traditional animation.
“The term ‘second hand’ refers to the ticking hand on a clock; it also describes re-used items. Would you rather save time? Or save stuff? This film examines the imbalance and waste created by these modern obsessions.”

“I shot a photo roughly every two miles between take-off in San Francisco and landing in Paris CDG to make this airplane time lapse.”
The Move is a short story inspired by moving in Amsterdam and is illustrated through stop-motion animated paper. The Move was directed and art directed by Mandy Smith
Jeff Hamada at Booooooom really wanted to share this short film stop motion video created by Kirsten Lepore. It really is a beautiful little bit of film and it’s so well done that you stop considering the technical difficulty of creating the animation mid-way through because it’s such an emotive piece of work. It’s a simple idea and story but how it’s accomplished really elevates it to the level of art. Beautiful.
‘Photocopy Romance’ is the latest music video put together by Neverhide Films. It’s a great video and serves as a very ingenuitive piece of stop motion animation. Neverhide took care to thoroughly document the experience and you can see some great ‘making of’ images in their Flickr-folio.
This Is It Collective created this little video detailing ‘Bad Things That Could Happen’ with nothing more than a few simple cardboard props, some friends and a whole lot of innovation. It looks like it was a lot of fun and it’s a lot of fun to watch too.

Benjamin Ducroz used a 3D program, paper, a laser printer, plywood, thread and nails to deliver this amazing little bit of animation. Pretty darn awesome.
Big Bag Big Boom is the latest video to be released by the ridiculously amazing street painting crew Blu. Their explanation for the project is as follows: “an unscientific point of view on the beginning and evolution of life … and how it could probably end”.
