I can’t really tell you too much about Bartholot but there really isn’t a need to because the imagery communicates everything that needs to be said.

Beautifully atmospheric and moody imagery from Swedish photographer Anders Linden. Each image is a window into a dream.
I received one of those mass ad agency emails from NYC photographers Russ and Reyn today and most of the time, I delete those emails but I clicked the link because they looked interesting and to my chagrin they have some really smart and fun photography in their portfolio. Can’t tell you much about them other than that but their work does enough talking.

Ilya Plotnikov & Alexandra Zaharova run Doberman Photography Studio. Their imagery often tells a story while invoking a mood and a tangible sense of environment. Their remarkable use of lighting and composition results in each image being crafted as it’s own individual work of art.

Glitzy, glamorous and gorgeous photography from Ruud Baan. The colors pop right out of the images and into your brain.
Freelance Photographer Max Hamilton was kind enough to email me his work this morning and I was really impressed by what I saw. I have held a fascination for all things Asia since I was in highschool, so I was immediately drawn to his ‘Modern China’ series. He transported me there with his imagery. He has a knack for uncovering hidden places that someone else might overlook but it is those exact places that reveal the true personality of the environment.
Weird, wild and wonderful photography abounds in the Flickr-folio of Tomek Bergmann. There is some really sensational work encapsulating a variety of moods and tones. Each image is thoughtfully composed as if it were a painting on canvas.
RJ Shaughnessy has some really moody, dreamy and atmospheric photos in his book that transport you emotionally to the environment they were captured in.
There is some stunning photography at We Are Involved. I have posted one of their photgraphers before but just rediscovered the site today and thought it was worth sharing again.
There is all manner of interesting things happening in the Flickr-folio of Estonian artist/photographer Sandra-Mandra. I wish I could tell you more but all I can go by is what I see and I like what I see.
Pierre Dal Corso has captured some imagery indicative of the fashion iconoclast. Cover those models with gloss and glitter, then glam on.
Kim Høltermand has launched a new website. His work did the rounds last year and for good reason. His photos are absolutely breath-taking.
Charles was kind enough to send in his body of photography work today at Heathen Swine (great name) and there are some really fantastic shots in his book. He has an amazing eye for composition and when and where to capture an image.
Mezzety has updated an already strange and unusual body of portrait photography with a digital twist.
There is some really wonderful photography happening in the portfolio of Jeroen Koolhaas for some really big-named clients.
