There are some densely layered hand-generated illustrations in the portfolio of Camellie.
The circle drawings of Richard Sarson are pretty interesting. I can’t imagine that they would be easy to produce, especially considering how cleanly they are rendered.
I am really liking the deconstructive portrait graphite work from San Francisco artist Wesley Burt.
Claire Scully has a really impressive portfolio displaying talent across the board from pen and pencil drawings to digital collage.
Has Jirat James Patradoon stopped being awesome since I last dropped in on his ass-kicking illustration portfolio? No actually, he has gotten awesomer.
Lovely is really the only applicable word when attempting to describe the illustrations of Daisy Fletcher. Just lovely illustrations.
You just have to see the paintings of Nicola Verlato to believe them. I haven’t witnessed something more violent yet beautiful, vivid and wildly imaginative, all generated by hand, in quite a while. The pencil drawings bear witness to the ability to achieve an absolutely amazing image with zero disruption from mind to hand. Amazing.
Matthew Dent sent a link to his work in and I am glad he did because he has some great illustration work in his portfolio at State 28. Thanks for the note Matthew.
I was really inspired today by the work of illustrator Christian Ward. I am embarking on my own illustration trip and have been on the prowl for inspiration and I really dig his style.

Some really impressive and wonderful illustrations in the portfolio of Adam Simpson.
Some nice gritty illustration work from Marcin Kuligowski.
Ryan Riss has updated with a lot of new work. He used to live here in Denver before heading out to L.A. I went to one of his shows here last summer and got to speak with him briefly. He’s a pretty unusual guy and that personality definitely shines through in his work.
Wow, just blown away by the fantastic drawings of Nashville-based artist Chris Scarborough. Highly imaginative and just technically beautiful. Really inspiring work.
Jim Stoten is ready to melt your face off with his London-based sketchy illustrator skills. Half of your face anyway.
Trippy illustrations and strangely unique typographical experimentation in the blog-folio of Enkeling.
