“A cheeky song about a naughty topic visually depicted within a parody of a 70s childhood classic.”
Yeah, those are dicks. So you have an idea what you might be in for when you click that playhead button.

I am just going to go out on a limb here and say that after watching this showreel I am pretty sure there are some incredibly talented people working for Digital District.
C’mon, you really should know CPR, especially when you consider the fact that at some point in your life the stars may align and some gorgeous human being in their underwear or swimsuit may need mouth-to-mouth.
You gotta admit, this video was a pretty clever idea and an even more clever ploy for self promotion.
Comments Off on Avi Buffalo – Whats In It ForMusic
“‘What’s In It For?’ is off Avi Buffalo’s debut self-titled full-length (4/27/10) as well as the 7′ ‘What’s In It For’ single that we released back in December 2009. The version of “Jessica” on the album is altogether different from the version that is the b-side of that same single.”
This video is the latest work from Andrew Huang. You can download a free MP3 of the song here as well.

This video is meant to express the technologies behind the Nike Brasil 2010 World Cup football kit which is made from recycled plastic bottles, is extra water repellent and super-flexible. Again, more wonderful work from Universal Everything.
Damn, now I am definitely going to have to buy one. I am wearing one of my old ones right now as I type this.

“The city district Amsterdam Osdorp recently merged with Slotervaart and Geuzenveld-Slotermeer and was given the name Amsterdam Nieuw-West. This change also meant the end of 20 years of restructuring urbanized areas. To celebrate everything achieved, a book was published. ‘The Metamorphosis of Osdorp’ gives an overview of the architectural highlights. We were asked to create an intriguing video, featuring the buildings we find most characteristic.”

Yannick Puig created this animated video for the band Kwoon several months ago that I somehow missed. It’s a beautiful piece of animation that works perfectly with the music track and I was happy to stumble upon it at Pasa La Vida.
Alessandro Durando of the NERDO design collective assembled this teaser for a larger project none of which involves keyframes and was created only using the dynamics of audio reacting particles.
There is a lot of interesting things at play here that meld music, 3D, architecture, editing and off the street footage into something that just kind of works.

“Sometimes you find yourself in a place that you just can’t explain and quite often it can be a little bit worrying. This animated short tells of one such occasion as our hero tries to express his feelings in the only way he can…via the medium of song.”
You can find out more about animator Andy Martin at his website.
“This is a direct video output from the iPad’s HD screen which generates the animation in realtime at 1024×768. It’s based on my previous animations and ‘Zio’ – my iPhone app. It’s created by complex algorithms and random generation, so you never get the exact same animation everytime you run it.”
The video was produced by codemaster Glenn Marshall with music by Brian Eno.
Molho is the work of Brazilian director Marcelo Altino Garcia. He has created across numerous disciplines and takes a unique individualist approach to each project. I have posted his work before but he has recently updated with some new and noteworthy projects. He has a large body of work already on display and he is definitely someone to keep an eye on in the future.
