Giampaolo Miraglia has a strange 3d meets retro kind of thing happening in his imagery. It feels like a generational clash and mishmash of 80s, 70s and just enough of ‘now’ peppered in to make it interesting. It doesn’t look like anything I have really seen lately and it’s worth a quick look.

We watched this in it’s entirety yesterday and all I can say is that it is batshit insane but in a totally supreme taco awesome kind of way.
More:
“‘Welcome little one! We shall call you SHE’ is what we felt like saying after giving birth to the OFFF Barcelona 2012 Main Titles. It has literally been like going through labour, albeit a labour of love. We feel very excited and extremely privileged to be able to present this project. Brosmind created an incredible double-feature comic and plastic masks with the face of the characters that were handed out at the festival. The two projects are intimately connected and bear witness of a great collaborative effort. Big hugs Bros!”

Canadian pop illustration and Photoshop wunderkind Rik Oostenbroek has updated with a flurry of neon-colored coolness. His ‘next level’ series pays an homage to the glory days of video gaming and has been rippling through the blog stream for good reason. It looks amazing.

Syndrome is still cranking out some truly stellar work after several years in the business. And for a business this finicky there is something to be said for that.

I think I have maybe posted the work of Director Kris Merc before but alas, it’s definitely worth looking at again because he has some crazy jaw dropping imagery represented in his portfolio that definitely sets him apart from a lot of young commercial directors.

“Jägermeister wanted to create a stylised video piece to promote their drinks brand across a range of clubs in Germany. Displayed on large flat screen monitors and digital media throughout various participating venues, the content needed to speak about the brand in a refreshing, energetic way.
Creating something interesting, and quite abstract, whilst simultaneously telling a story was of importance during this project. The finished piece was designed to loop indefinitely, yet it can still be interpreted as a journey through the dimensions of evolution, moments in time and kinetic energy.
Thanks to Angelo Wellens, who spent many late nights helping with the animation. And Henrique Matias for the soundtrack. Created at Hi-ReS!”

Imaginary Forces is once again cranking some jaw-dropping work for the God of War series of video games. I was incredibly inspired by their previous work for the game and this little preview ups the ante and does not disappoint.
