About photographer Christian Weber from his website:
“Christian Weber (b. 1971) is a visual artist born in Cincinnati, Ohio. A few years after his birth his family moved to Florida where he started taking photographs at the age of fourteen. He later graduated from the Southeast Center for Photograpahic Studies which in turn propelled him to New York City into a career in the arts.
Creating assured images, Weber demonstrates a raw elegance that is at once provisional and precise. His celebrated portraits, architecture, and landscapes reveal a talent equally open to the verve and beauty of contemporary life. His photographs appear regularly in such publications as Life, Details, The New York
Times Magazine, and Interview. “
A long scroll of roughly-rendered, brightly colored and geometry-inspired art crafted by the hand of Brent Wadden.
Drew Struzan paints illustrations for use in movie posters and on the cover of DVDs. You can actually buy his work for a hefty sum, but owning one would be a real shred of pop culture history. His work is strikingly beautiful and the likeness and heroism in his imagery is dead on for the film industry.
Hybrid Heart is the artwork of Beautiful Decay founder and publisher, Amir H. Fallah. I have been on his email list for a very long time now, and I have been really amazed at just how personally committed he is to his personal pursuit of fine art and his career as a painter. His latest work shows the result of that committment as his work continues to mature and develop into some unique, contemporary and colorful compositions.
Sculptor, Adam Beane makes tiny and phenomenal sculptures for toy companies. They are amazing not only for the likeness of the subject but also the detail. The craftsmanship and commitment to generate something so painstakingly demands respect.
Reza emailed me about his zombie-drawing blog, Rezatron. Aside from drawing the undead he is also the director at Three Legged Legs.
Brooklyn-based illustrator, Lisel Jane has a beautiful body of work that has been utilized by some notable clients.
I discovered photographer Ryan McGinley today while perusing Do It For the Fame (such a great blog) and was just amazed by his work. Both his choice of locations and how his models interact with the chosen environment make for such gorgeous images. There is something both psychedelic and serene happening simultaneously.
Here is a nice little promo-vid for Hellovon’s upcoming show at the Cerasoli Gallery in LA. I love his work.

I am really really digging the psychedelic multi-eyed women in the work of young Brooklyn-based artist Lauren Albert A.K.A. ‘Lala‘.
I selected a few that I liked from Fuck Yeah Gifs but there is a lot more where that came from. Animated gifs are just a good time. Period.
Illustrator C.F. Payne’s imagery has graced the covers of Time Magazine, Readers Digest, Sports Illustrated, The New York Times Book Review and Sunday Magazine, MAD Magazine, der Spiegel, U.S. News and World Report, The Atlantic Monthly, Texas Monthly, Boys Life and more.
His work as been exhibited at The Cincinnati Art Museum, The National Portrait Gallery, The Norman Rockwell Museum, The Society of Illustrators Museum of American Illustration, The Selby Gallery at Ringling College of Art and Design and numerous college and university galleries.
And he finally has a website.
Brooklyn-based artist/illustrator, Lis Timpone has some nice drawings in her blog-folio.
Spencer Lowell has an eye for capturing imagery of strange things and places that just look amazing in still form.
Ricardo Fumanal was born in Huesca in 1984 and did a stint in Barcelona before moving on to Madrid. He has some beautiful drawings, inspired by fashion and film, in his portfolio.
Danny Treacy is a Manchester-born, London-based artist/photographer is a really amazing little photo/art/sculptural project under his belt called ‘Them’.
Photographer Sabine Pigalle has an artistic and beautiful body of work. She pays special attention to the use of color in her highly composed imagery and moves fluidly between fashion-styled portraiture to still life.
