Nicole Cote is a very young photographer with some very mature imagery in her portfolio. Her black and white photos in particular are strikingly beautiful and leave a narrative opening for the view to create their own story around each image.

There are some divine images of both planets in space and pictures of Earth taken from space in the official Flickr Photostream for NASA Goddard. Who knew NASA was into Flickr? Very inspirational imagery for sure.

Bobby Neel Adams is a photographic artist who resides in New York. He has been at work for many years and has spent much time examining the process of aging on the body and soul. His series entitled ‘Family Tree’ was created by splitting images of mothers and daughters, fathers and sons even fathers and daughters then resizing them to match in order to examine the changes brought on by aging yet still strange similarities between the two.

Boston.com posted The Year in Pictures for 2010 and there are some downright stunning images to behold from what was without a doubt an extremely tumultuous year on this delicate planet. The oil spill in particular was horrendous and is still totally unforgivable.

Multi-disciplinary creative agency Tsto is made up of a talented group of individuals including Antti Uotila, Inka Järvinen, Jaakko Pietiläinen, Johannes Ekholm, Jonatan Eriksson and Matti Kunttu. You will be carried away by photographer Maia Flore’s latest series titled ‘Sleep Elevations’. And yes that was a pun. And yes it was intended but in no way meant to detract from the beauty of Maia’s work. They make me think of those strange dreams where you feel the sensation of hovering above yourself or floating over a landscape.

Daniel Kennedy spends his time taking pictures of celebrities and gorgeous models but sometimes wishes he’d been a designer after spending much time picking fonts for his latest website. Daniel, I would be happy to trad for a month if you’d like to just try on the shoes and see if they fit. I promise to keep my desk chair warm for you so long as you line up a really sexy shoot. Think ‘micro-bikini’.

If anything could be said for photographer Todd Fisher, he is a keen observer always on the lookout for a window into a larger albeit potentially disturbing scene to preserve for all eternity.

‘The Animal Print Shop‘ is exactly as it sounds and it’s one of those rare simple and wonderful ideas that you wish you had thought of. It’s a series of photographic prints available in several sizes of quite possibly all of your favorite animals just hanging out and being the amazing creatures that they are. There is an enormous amount of personality on display and the raccoon prints in particular made me wish those little buggers didn’t claw around sometimes in my attic because they are absolutely adorable.

“I am a 32 year old photographer and designer, born and raised in Blissfield, a small farm town in southeastern Michigan. After graduating from the University of Michigan with a BFA in Photography and a BA in Graphic Design, I began working as a designer and art director, first in Chicago, then San Francisco, where I started my own studio and began working on several long term projects. Recently relocated back to Michigan, I am doing what little I can to help it recover its former glory.”
