Simon Dominic Brewer creates all of his images digitally and they are all exceptional. He apparently hasn’t even begun doing commissioned work which is almost impossible to believe. Keep an eye on him because he will be on the fast track when he does start accepting commissioned work.

There is all kinds of good stuff going on at Form.
Here is what they have to say about themselves…
Founded by Paul West and Paula Benson, the Form team are driven by a passion for design and the power it has to make a difference to our clients and their products and services. We don’t create ‘eye candy’ (though our mission is to ensure all our work is beautiful, seductive and has impact) – we are problem solvers and ensure our work really communicates with your target audience.

The lovely and extremely talented Sanna Annukka has been hard at work even getting herself featured in Vogue. She has updated her site lately with new work and she has opened an online store where you can now purchase screenprints and lithographs of her work.

There is some interesting work in the portfolio of London-based John Morgan Studio. The man behind the studio has been at it for quite a long time now. If you check the about section you will be greeted by a long ass list of things he has done. His work is subtle but there is a kind of thinking behind everything that I really appreciate. The poster I posted above was created using felt tip markers and pens. It’s a pretty outrageous way to create a poster but I can’t think of a way to make something more unique. I like that it required a real effort but the end result was still minimal and in keeping with the rest of his work.

Interesting and thoughtful work by small London-based graphic design studio Oscar and Ewan. The type in the signage above was created by hanging numerous wooden dowels. How awesome is that?

Again as opposed to rewriting it myself here is the profile content from London-based creative studio No Days Off: “No Days Off is a creative studio specialising in graphic design and art direction. The studio works on a diverse range of projects, including branding, design for the music industry, art direction for magazines and fashion clients, independent publishing and book design. No Days Off also strongly believes in producing work for non-commercial purposes. Ongoing themes include memory, girls clothing, dead celebrities and pens that run out.
No Days Off founder Patrick Duffy worked previously as art director of the alternative style and fashion magazine known as Sleazenation. He went on to set up the celebrated independent literary magazine Full Moon Empty Sports Bag with friends Ian Allison and Steve Cotton.”
There is a broad range of interesting work in their portfolio and a lot of it is just fun to look at.

The ever talented Sam Gilbey has updated his body of work with some new material. Sam has been at it for a while and was active on Pixel Surgeon for a long time. I was very sad to see Pixel Surgeon go but I am just as happy to see Sam still working hard. He’s a nice guy and a hard worker. You can’t miss employing him as an illustrator.
