It’s obvious that the Betterment Bureau cares deeply about what Amnesty International represents and didn’t hold back despite this being a pro-bono piece on pouring in all the passion they could muster.
Wild Robot 2 is the second installment in the Wild Robot series by talented director/animator Sam Mason. It’s a psychedelic Tim Burton steampunk kind of affair that has been expertly crafted by the hands of a real talent.
London based motion design agency We Are Seventeen have done some amazing work. You can see several examples in their portfolio for a wealth of big named clients. Keep an eye on this studio.
Ryan Mast is a local Denver Motion Designer who we recently hired to work on a project. He is enormously talented and a really great guy. Two traits that make for a great person to have on a project. We really enjoyed working with him and are hoping to work with him again very soon. If you are looking for a local freelance talent in the motion design and 3D field, you can’t do much better than Ryan. Keep an eye out for him in the future, wherever he goes good things are sure to follow.
Powerhouse motion studio Imaginary Forces has posted a real several weeks back for the spring of 2011. As to be expected there is some jaw-dropping work delivered. As a burgeoning motion studio we are continually inspired by what Imaginary Forces can do. We hope we can one day reach their lofty level of production.
This amazing spot created for the 50th anniversary of Amnesty International was produced by Eallin Motion Art and Dreamlife Studio under the direction of Carlos Lascano with Music by Academy Award Winner Hans Zimmer and Nominee Lorne Balfe. It’s a gorgeous little piece of animation.
German animation/motion studio Polynoid, have launched their short film entry entitled Loom as a part of the Resonance project.
They released through the short film through their website at www.polynoid.tv. The film was originally released in 2010 and has so far been the recipient of numerous film festival awards including ‘Best in Show’ at Siggraph 2010, an ‘Honorary Mention’ at ARS Eletronica 2010, and the 2010 VES Award for ‘Outstanding Visual Effects in a Student Project.’
It’s stunning piece of work.
Apparently this is a teaser for a full length animated feature. It looks pretty amazing and is being released by Blacklight Movies and is being produced by Guillaume Ivernel. Wow.
Motion/3D designer Gabriel Pulecio sent word that he recently updated his portfolio. I am really digging his logo sting work that features some bright, glowing and gorgeous particles bursting, spinning and reassembling themselves.
This is PepperMelon’s contribution to this year’s F5 Festival which we are definitely not missing next year. So much amazing work came out of this festival. Seriously mind blowing stuff by some of the best talent in the biz.

David Lewandowski updates with more behind-the-scenes motion/3D work he helped create as a member of the super secret ninja motion design team behind the jaw-dropping visuals for the fanboy orgiastic cinema experience that was Tron Legacy. He’s got some excellent work to pick through both for the film and his other clients.
It’s been an extremely long time since anyone heard from Bradley G Munkowitz and that’s because he spent the entirety of 2010 in the dark, up late at night constructing 12 minutes of holographic animation sequences for the movie Tron. It was a motion designers dream come true and he produced some truly phenomenal work for the film. He’s continued to be a force of nature in the industry and is often described as ‘crazy’ but ‘amazing’ by his peers but if you really want to know or understand his genius all you have to do is look through his work.
Emrah Gonulkirmaz is a BNA Logo Identity Animation winner because of this wild piece created for Colr Inc.
Our friends at ‘Friends of Mine‘ who we have collaborated and worked with in the past have updated their website and rebranded themselves. We have always enjoyed working with them, and even though we are all running different studios here in Denver we maintain close relationships with our brothers in arms here and consider them good friends. So we were super excited to see they have been cranking out some great work lately and their new website looks wonderful. The Node is a new project from the imaginative mind of Murat Pak.
“‘The Node’ is a project of time-image represented as pixels, which is connected to its reinterpretations done by various frequency artists.
