Wow, just absolutely whacked out work ranging from painting to vector to collage to design to drawing at StephD.biz. Wild wild stuff. Awesome but crazy.
Funny thing though, my other cat shirt is a cat too.

Copenhagen-based illustrator Rikke Jorgensen has some attractive pen and ink work on display and ready to inspire.
“I was born in 1986 in a small town called Zelenograd (‘green-town‘) somewhere near Moscow, USSR. During my childhood I was taught the drawing basics by my father — that’s how it all started. I can clearly remember myself drawing on almost all surfaces later in school and then, spending free time at the university between the lectures, I started drawing letters.”

Really interesting work.

That’s all fine and dandy right? So what is really interesting, somewhat maddening and very inspiring about Mr. Judd is that he has committed to drawing in his sketchbook every single day for an entire year. Twice. He plans to do this a year on and a year off for a long time to come and he has recorded his progress. It’s pretty insane and there are actually some pretty interesting drawings in his sketchbook.
You can see how round two came out, day by day, everyday, here.
Justine Ashbee creates the kind of art that I think would be a lot more interesting in person than it appears small-scale on the internet. She creates large drawings using sharpies with the kind of curves you would swear had to be computer generated. It’s an interesting methodology and execution in what is definitely an original perspective.
