Just when I have finally swore off buying any more t-shirts I stumble across the storefront of Freegums and discover an awesome cache of simple, smart and damn-good-looking tees.

Artist Michael Zavros paints fashion-inspired imagery that appears as almost photographic upon first glance. His work is meticulously crafted and the resulting imagery of his labor is genuinely beautiful. Not an easy feat with oil paint.
Ugmonk got in touch to inform us that they have updated their already flawless cache of shirts with a new design that you can see above. The extra special part of their correspondence was that they would like to offer Changethethought readers an extra 15% off of their purchase until December 15th. Just enter the discount code CHANGETHETHOUGHT at checkout.
Painter Barbara Wijnveld uses big dripping blocks of water color to create some striking fashion-influenced portrait paintings that look much better hanging on a wall then they come across via the web. I’d love to see them in a gallery setting.
Beautiful and contemplative images are slipping through Goran Jovanovic’s photostream.
Hugo (Mario Hugo) and Marie have launched a new online boutique featuring goods created by some of the talented people currently under their umbrella. They have some really beautiful items already in the store. Some of them are quite pricey, but if you want to own and wear a real piece of art, you have to pony up. However, they are carrying some inspiring printed goods such as It’s Nice That Issue No. 2 and Newwork Magazine Issue No.3 for very reasonable prices.
If I could hazard a guess, this is only a preview of what is to come. I would expect they will be continually stocking with more and beautiful new things from their amazing cache of talent.
Illustrator Dan Stafford has an likeable, interesting and brightly colorful style.

The Imaginary Foundation got in touch to let me know that they have launched their first blog. It is again filled with the kind of inspirational tidbits that support their philosophy. They are also releasing a new line today. The second image above is from their new line that was just released. The first image was taken from one of their earlier shirts and is still probably my all time favorite. IF was kind enough to send me some shirts recently and I was honesty pretty shocked at how well the image holds up on their shirts and how true the color is.
This handmade Fair trade backpack by Pangolin for men is made from the recycled inner tubes of trucks. It’s probably the coolest backpack I can remember seeing in a really long time and I will never ever own one because the thing costs 195.00 euros which at the current exchange rate for the dollar is something like a thousand bucks (sarcasm there, but there is still no way I can afford to buy one). Maybe my European friends could afford to pick one up (grab one for me would ya?). I ain’t too proud to beg.
Sexy and super colorful photography is popping out of the portfolio of Brazlian photographer Gabriel Wickbold. Brazil keeps heating up.
Handsome Clothing has recently released a series of space-inspired t-shirts that are pretty damned Handsome.
Andrea Crews is fashion, art, activism, a shop and a creative agency plus a whole lotta I don’t even know what. Craziness I guess. I have no idea what to file them under.
Can an online clothing store be expertly curated? The answer is yes and the solution is Need Supply Co. They are without a doubt one of the best curated online stores that I have stumbled on in a very long time. I would take one of just about everything they have in stock. Things are a little pricey but there are some downright cool clothes on hand. No they didn’t pay me or send me anything to write this, I just seriously like the items they have for sale. It’s as though each item has been individually considered before it was added to the store. I just wish I had the cash on hand to pick some of them up.
I am not quite sure what to call MOTHERFVCKER/Plastics Fantastics, but the work speaks for itself as fashion-inspired photography and illustration melt into a tasty concoction.
Berlin-based photographer Kerstin zu Pan has a playfully wild body of work splashed with vivid colors and marked by beautiful compositions. Some of the images read almost more as paintings than photographs. There is a recent and expectedly original project new to the portfolio that is well worth a browse.
Photographer Straulino has an impressive body of colorful and beautifully composed fashion and beauty imagery.
Photographer Roger Dekker’s portfolio runs the gamut from fashion through landscape. One thing remains synonymous throughout, each piece is an example of high art.
