Alan Clarke generated a series of Olympic posters as a proposal for London 2012. The result of his efforts is a set of beautifully simple yet effectively communicative images. They are universal and would translate in any language. Wonderful and classic design work.
If only the Mayan calendar ended a year later maybe we would get to actually enjoy the 2012 Olympics.

I was super impressed by Eric Ku’s series of projects created to explore the concept of redifining a broad series of subjects/objects through the application of graphic design. The end result of the exercises are really striking, and it is really refreshing to see someone trying to examine a thinking-process versus just creating attractive layouts. The study took him into realms far beyond the 2-dimensional space and no-doubt into unexplored regions of his brain.
I was really inspired by the idea and doubly impressed by the fact that Ku is a recent graduate. Hire this brilliant mind as fast as you can.
