Mato Atom is a director, a designer and well…whatever (that is what the website reads anyway). I have posted Atom’s work before on my last blog and could have sworn I had posted it again sometime this year, but it really doesn’t matter. The work is so good that it deserves another mention. Look and be inspired.
Nice work even if it is only a temporary site from design studio Parent. I love how the work is displayed. Very unusual and interesting horizontal scroll of design goodness.
It has been a while since the brilliant and ironically rejected typographic book covers of Klas Ernflo hit the blogwaves but there has since been some updates in the Ernflo portfolio. You can also see even more work at Flickr.
There are some really talented illustrators, including ‘The Heads of State’ under the umbrella of Frank Sturges Reps. Its worth a browse through their collective book for a little dose of inspiration.

David Rowan is a talented photographer and artist. He graduated from the Kent Institute of Art and Design in 1998 with a BA in Visual Communication/Photographer. He has also studied graphic design and fine art. He has worked professionally for over 10 years. Since 2001 he has been working with the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery managing the photographic studio and supplying digital imaging of the entire range of the museum’s art and history collections.

Andy Mangold’s type specimen book has been making the blog rounds this week but that is just one work from his portfolio. He is currently attending the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore. He already has some very accomplished work in his book. Keep your eye out for him when he graduates.

I recently spied one of Todd Alana Breland’s illustrations in Wired Magazine and looked him up. Turns out he has been in the illustration game for some time and done work for some pretty large brands.
There is some really fun work in the Flickr-Folio of London-based design studio Roundel. I really love the study for the logo above. Great color work.
