Quirky French studio Akatre has been very busy updating with several new and original works in their portfolio. Akatre was founded by Julien Dhivert and Sebastien Riveron and continues to evolve with experimental and original work. They are definitely a studio to watch as it’s impossible to forecast exactly what they will do next.

London-based design consultancy, Modern Publicity was established by Ken Leung, the founding Art Director of Monocle magazine. The MP portfolio is relatively small but puts in an impressive showing for branding work with some highly considered print pieces. It’s been a very long time since I have dropped in on multi-disciplinary studio Marque Creative they have since been very busy producing some clean and beautiful new print projects. I received a note about Process Journal this morning and it looks like an exceptional no frills creative publication featuring some equally no frills exceptional talent. The effort that went into creating a clean and easy to navigate website to showcase Process Journal bodes well for the quality of the publication. The journal is also a featured project on the K.W.Doggget Fine Paper website.
It’s still nice to see small scale publishers taking on print against the internet tsunami. There is much to be said for holding, keeping and archiving a printed publication especially for use as inspiration within a studio’s library.
Hey Ho is a Paris based design studio founded 2007 by Julien Hourcade and Thomas Petitjean.
