I loved this little animation. It’s fun, well styled, well storied, simple but engrossing. Excellent work.
Lots of people involved on this one and they are all here in all CAPS.

Our studio wants a project like this.
“Beakus director Mr Binns created this beautiful and stylish promo for the Ellen MacArthur Foundation.
We were asked to convey a complex idea – how business and consumers should change their habits to an ecology in which we re-generate all the materials we use – in a bright, fun, and engaging way. Mr Binns designed a pared back but cleverly though out world of technology and work in which to tell the story of rotund worker bees living in a new, fresh, Circular Economy.
Go learn more about the idea, and why it’s making headway in business and politics here: ellenmacarthurfoundation.org“

“Sonar Fates Limited is owned and founded by UK based illustrator Dean Falsify Cook.
Sonar Fates grew out of the need to supply mobile gaming & modern culture industries with highly detailed, esoteric illustrations, be them static or in considered motion.
Not merely content with providing pixels for hire, he is establishing Sonar Fates as a base on which to launch his own Intellectual Properties.
He likes to describe his work as ‘progressive’ and each piece is meticulously designed to first batter the senses and then as the mental dust settles, subtly invite the viewer to ponder the meaning and devour the details.
He has had the great honour of working with multiple companies worldwide and has been printed in international publications such as Computer Arts, XFUNS and WebsMedia as well as being featured on prominent sites such as Behance, Digital Art Served and Abduzeedo.
He is also a proud member of prestigious international art collective Depthcore.”
This guy knows how to represent himself.

Artists Inspire Artists has a fantastic collection of icon design for your viewing inspiration. Icon Design is something I’ve held a particular fascination for since the introduction and deep penetration (so rare you can use that phrase in a serious context) of touch screen technology in our lives. This collection exemplifies just how much craft goes into generating these tiny but amazingly detailed images.

I am not sure if I posted this when it first hit the interwebs but even if I did, it is worth a second watch. The Mill continues to stun with jaw-dropping work. It’s nice that they actually kept track of every spot on the reel also.

Joshua Catalano developed this simple music video that in many ways almost feels like the graphics are generative based on the actual audio. It doesn’t look like Proce55ing though I could be totally wrong. If you know any more than I do, please leave a comment or two.

This is a surreal and super psychedelic experimental 3d animation piece completed entirely by Russian motion designer and animator Dxmiq. It’s trippy to say the least and made me wonder what a director like Kubrick would’ve been able to do with abstract visuals like this if he were still around today.

Paraphrasing here:
“Directed by Carl E. Rinsch, ‘The Gift’ Belongs to the “Parallel Lines” Phillips Cinema campaign originally released in Russia. The Gift is a Sci-Fi short with a savage Chase sequence. More than 20 full CGI shots were created for the short. Vechicles and characters were also designed specifically for the short.”
