HUAS is an unusual beast that has created some really great work and likes to show it in a way that captures your attention and makes you rethink how you browse a portfolio. Good stuff.

Mark Zador and Attila Horvath have launched their collective outlet, titled Official Classic, as a way out of what they describe as a constrictive creative scene in order to experience the fullest extent of their ambition and ability. I was really surprised at just how much was in there. There are lots of triangles in there too. I guess those aren’t going away in 2009. Like them or not, there is still some really great stuff in this latest issue.
The circle drawings of Richard Sarson are pretty interesting. I can’t imagine that they would be easy to produce, especially considering how cleanly they are rendered.

University of Brighton student, Christopher Smith has some work that kind of defies explanation in his book. He is studying illustration but there is something more going on there that is hard to put a finger on.
Nepomuk is Sven Neitzel, Doris Freigofas and Daniel Dolz from Berlin and they have some really great design and illustration work in their collective book. I have written of their exploits before but it appears their is a bit of newness happening since I last dropped in.
