The Feltron 2008 Annual Report is now online and ready for your viewing inspiration. You can buy the print version here as well.
Pretty hilarious idea to make a personal annual report full of anecdotal and reletively pointless information about yourself but it is also brilliant.
Brian Gossett has updated for the new year with a new site and new work. Good stuff.
Scott Reifsnyder is a recent MFA graduate from the Tyler School of Arts Graphic & Interactive Design program. He is in constant pursuit of design and illustration projects that appeal to his sensitivity for a nostalgic aesthetic. He currently works at Headcase Design in Philadelphia. He has also taught design at his alma mater Kutztown University and is currently teaching part-time at Tyler School of Art.
He has some fine print work in his portfolio.
Neil Duerden emailed this morning to let me know he has made a big update to his site with a lot of new work and he wasn’t kidding. There is some wild technically complex imagery in his portfolio. He is a machine.
Some nice prints for sale at Good Shape Design. I am hoping to move into a house soon and I think the one above would look pretty good hanging up on my wall.
The Designers Against Tibetan Abuse (DATA) that I contributed to will be on Sale February 2nd, 2009.
A limited edition silk screen poster created by Si Scott will also be going on sale with only 50 having been printed. There will also be an exhibition in London featuring work from the book in the Summer of 2009.
As a little refresher, the book features work from 52 creatives from around the world, including Changethethought. The contributing designers were asked to create pieces focussing on different aspects of Tibetan Rights. The book will be available for only £15 + postage. All proceeds go to the Tibet Relief Fund, who are also distributing the book.
You can see a little preview of what you are in for here. Its a great cause to contribute to so it is a win win here. A book to use as a good source of inspiration and money going to a good cause.
Sleek and sexy design work from the Autralian shop 3 Deep. Freshly updated site as well.
Well, the last and final big design news of the day is that Alex Trochut has once again updated his portfolio with exceptional design and typography work. I highly doubt I will be neither the first or last to mention this to you this week.
Wow, I am just utterly blown away by the talent of Brazilian designer/illustrator Nelson Balaban. Just amazing. Everything he creates is a work of art. It is like he is somehow hard-wired to artfully meld design and illustration in ways that you have to not only appreciate but respect. He is younger than I was I think before I even started working in the design and advertising field and I just cannot believe the things he produces. Stunning.
Oh and he has also just updated his website, Xtrabold with new and needless to say, unbelievably beautiful work.
Steven Harrington updates with a new website and loads of new and tasty work.
There are some interesting illustrations and some fun posters in the portfolio of Marcroy.
