“AREA 17 is an interactive agency located in New York City and Paris, France. We create user-centered websites, software applications and visual identity systems. AREA 17 also refers to the optical cortex of your brain where visual data is received, patterns are recognized and images are formulated. This is not a coincidence.
AREA 17 was founded in March 2003. We are independently owned and creatively motivated. We are Andrew Ackermann, Arnaud Mercier, Audrey Templier, Claire Deribreux, David Guez, David Lamothe, Debbie Tomlinson, Dominique Deriaz, Elise Agostini, George Eid, Jordan Khammar, Kemp Attwood, Kristen Nosek, Luis Lavena, Martin Rettenbacher and Mubashar Iqbal.”

Young Gun 6 award winner Keetra Dean Dixon has some really nice work on display and I especially love her type experimentation and use of color. Great work all around.
Nice typography from Fabian Jochen Kanzler. Minimal type just looks good in German doesn’t it? It makes sense somehow, especially when it is used to list some of life’s essential ingredients.
There is some nice design work up for viewing pleasure and inspiration at Hi-Web.
Very nice work in the freshly updated portfolio of Julien Vallée.
I am not exactly sure what all is going on at Akatre because it is all in French but whatever it is, damn I like it.
I wish it were displayed just a hair bigger but there is some very attractive work including some really great typography in the portfolio of Norwegian designer Mats Ottdal.
“Born and educated in Bangkok, Pomme Chan completed a BA in Interior Design and joined DY&R and Grey before relocating to the UK to focus on her interest in graphic design.
After studying graphic design at the London College of Communication Advertising, she worked in the magazine industry and later became a freelance illustrator.
In the span of just 3 years, Pomme has developed campaigns for a diverse list of clients including Mercedes-Benz, Freya Lingerie and Southern Comfort, with work featuring in the Telegraph Newspaper, IDN Magazine, Fashion Inc. and AllAccess – among others.
Her work also appears on websites for VV magazine, Flip and You He She.
Using her unique felt-tip style and Line drawing Pomme draws inspiration from Architecture, nature, fashion and the curve of the female form. She exhibits her work in rare moments of free time.”
Nice clean and classic design work from the people at Round based in Melbourne.
Interesting things are happening through the creative workings of Jesse Kanda.
“Established by Jacob Wildschiødtz and Troels Faber, NR2154 is a multidisciplinary design studio specialising in graphic design.”
They are responsible for loads or interesting and expertly crafted graphic design. Hey guys, got room for another coworker in Copenhangen? I have some relatives there. Just a thought.
“Bunch was established in 2002, by Denis Kovac and Paulo Silva. It spread organically from London to Zagreb and then to Singapore. Talented friends joined, and the union formed the multi-disciplinary design agency that is the Bunch of today. We use our wide range of specialisations to create intelligent and consistent brands for our diverse clients. And believe that creativity, clarity and consistency are the keys to successful design.”
Exceptional work all around.
I can’t really tell you a single thing about Numskull other than the fact that I love every single thing on their website. It’s all absolutely brilliant.
“Village Green is a design studio set up by Seb Marling (Blue Source) and Jonathon Cooke (Love). It is a workshop as much as a studio – a place for ideas and a place for industry. Our new path will take us through fields young and old – nurturing our engagement in original design through print, interactive media and moving image.”
