Scandinavian design studio Thank You has released a new showreel for 2010. New work has also been added to their portfolio. There site is nicely put together as well with a simple layout countered by some nice onload transitions. Good show.
ZipporaLux is Boya Naomi Zippora Latumahina born and raised in the Netherlands but now residing in London. She is a photographer and graphic design student and she like cats and Hubble Space Telescope photos which led to this incredibly fun series of posters that you can purchase via her Etsy shop. How can you not like those posters? They’d make for a great conversation piece in any aspiring design studio.

Artworklove are a team of French and English art directors and designers whose approach is based on artistic experimentation and systematic design structure. It’s an approach that has led to some nice portfolio work.
It’s been a long time since I wrote about Brazilian design and creative studio Firmorama. They have since updated with a very slick website as well as an even slicker body of design work. It’s all very bright, fun and exciting. How much fun would it be to live in Southern Brazil producing excellent design?
Well there is no real arguing the talent of designer Darren Firth and you can start with his roster of experience to get a measure of his talent. Firth is the original founder of Occupy (then WIWP and is also a co founder and art director of the UK based studio, Six. He has updated with a long elegant scroll of brilliantly considered graphic design on his website. It’s all very understated, European and beautifully executed with a degree of confident maturity.
Numéro 10 Studio is a french creative production studio that definitely has a point of view. I am not sure exactly where they intend to direct that point of view but they are definitely producing some interesting imagery and leaning toward a particular style.
Austrian designer David Mascha has updated his website with new work. The site itself is highly function and presents the work in a clean and attractive environment. He’s got some nice illustration work under the hood for IBM.
Graphic design studio Homework has recently reloaded their portfolio with some outrageously beautiful print work. Unfortunately it’s all displayed a little small at their website but you can get a much larger view at the always-inspirational design blog September Industries.
Designer/illustrator Olly Moss has updated his Flickr-folio with some super fun work for Mondo Tees including the posters above. He’s kicked out some excellent poster work as of late.
New Zealand based studio In House Design has updated with some lovely new print and branding work for several clients. It’s all tightly considered work that makes great use of typography. You can’t miss with the font Black Slabbath.
Young illustrator/designer wild child Magomed Dovjenko has updated both his website and portfolio with more detailed work for clients like Nike.
Non-Format has updated yet again with a highly inspiration and as always amazingly considered album art project for Seeland.
Paul Marcus Fuog’s Australian design studio Coöp has updated with a new website and several new pieces in the studio portfolio. It’s a designalicious extravaganza that will get any hungry print designer salivating.
It’s been over a year since I last wrote about art director, designer and illustrator Michael Freimuth. He’s continued to fill his portfolio with unusual and yet original work that showcases a wide range of talent. He works full time as an art director at Tender in Manhattan. He is also the creative director at large for Chicago based magazine and design journal Matériel.
Hort has posted a new project for soccer (football damn it) brand Calle. It is apparently part of a larger rebrand but has begun with a shoe called ‘Favela’. They designed a slick shoe box, the bottom of the shoe itself as well as a promotional poster. I definitely wouldn’t mind picking up a pair just as a collector’s item.
