Old Black is a music video for Egyptrixx created by DAT DAT DAT aka Andreas N. Fischer in who is a Berlin based motion designer and 3D animator.
‘Tyrsa‘ is Alexis Taieb. He is based in Paris, France and the way he exhibits his talents on his latest website says as much about the creative lifestyle as it does about his project work.

Our good friend Tony Benna, of Mekanism, directed these beautifully composed vignettes for the Samsung Sh-100 camera. They hopped in a camper, drove across America and handed the camera off to strangers that became friends along the way. Not a bad way to spend the summer. Great writing, editing and a voice that really rings true.
Tobias Stretch directed this trippy romp with special effects and costume development by Jenny Lee Maas and animatronics by Luna’s Puppets and Scott Gurten. Production was handled by Skin Flicks. We were tipped off by a comment left after a post and pleasantly surprised by both a great video and a great song.

Killian Eng updates yet again with another delirious scroll down the rabbit hole of absolute psychedelic imagination. Wow is really the only word to apply if you are a fan of this kind of imagery and Eng just keeps churning this out like it’s easy. Amazing.
Motion Designer/Animator Ned Wenlock’s developed custom typography to narrate and guide the viewer through the music video for MGMT’s latest single ‘All We Ever Wanted Was Everything’. The song itself is a Bauhaus cover and comes from MGMT’s Late Night Tales album. As great as the song and the video is, I can tell you personally that the album is even better. It is by far my most favorite album this year and consists of artists covers curated by MGMT (both the artists and the songs). There are some absolutely fantastic songs on the album and as a whole it’s quite possibly the most consistent play from start to finish of any album I have purchased so far this year. What a dream project this must have been for Ned Wenlock who shares some insight into his process at Motionographer. I would give my right arm to animate a video for MGMT.

McBess has updated with some new work to his fantastic portfolio and added a little tweak to his wholly unique and totally recognizable style. That tweak arrives in the form of color and it’s something he swears he hates and will never do again but I kinda like it.
“Time lapse sequences of photographs taken by the crew of expeditions 28 & 29 onboard the International Space Station from August to October, 2011, who to my knowledge shot these pictures at an altitude of around 350 km. All credit goes to them. I intend to upload a FullHD-version presently.
HD, refurbished, smoothed, retimed, denoised, deflickered, cut, etc. All in all I tried to keep the looks of the material as original as possible, avoided adjusting the colors and the like, since in my opinion the original footage itself already has an almost surreal and aestethical visual nature.”
Is space amazing or what? Why can’t well go there for a visit. Could someone make that possible already?

The guys in the studio turned me onto the motion work of the German studio Polynoid today. The work is slick, psychedelic and totally awesome (case in point the work for Mtv above). You can visit their website and portfolio here.
Illustrator Randy Ortiz is packing a lot of detail into his work. He still has a relatively small body of work but it promises an over pour of talent for those who are willing to stay tuned for more.
