Matthew Dent sent a link to his work in and I am glad he did because he has some great illustration work in his portfolio at State 28. Thanks for the note Matthew.

Ian Styles is the former Creative Director of Roundel and Director of Mode and he is currently looking for the next opportunity while working in London. Styles has some slick work in his Flickr-folio.
Ministry of Aesthetics (MOA) is the studio of Vancouver based New Zealand designer/illustrator Aaron Hogg.
Brilliant name and some equally brilliant illustration work.
Some nice clean and sophisticated work in the portfolio of Daniel Lorch.
“Just us has been created to showcase young and emerging creative talent from universities and colleges across the UK.”
Clean, crispy, colorful and impossible not to like graphic design work from New Zealander Jeremy Evans.
Some really fun experimental layouts in the Flickr-folio of Nonaine.
A new issue of Canvas magazine (the design issue) is ready for download. I don’t know exactly why it is called the design issue as it is mostly full of fashion photography but it does feature some work from Marian Bantjes and Andy Mueller.
A few small but notable updates for 2009 in the portfolio of color-pattern crushing designer/illustrator Edvard Scott.
There are a few new and beautiful things happening at Si Scott Studio since I last dropped in. I am sure you have seen his work out there on just about everything by now. His style has been enormously popular this last year.
There is some nice work in the portfolio of Brooklyn-based Free Association (great name too by the way). I just wish they had showcased the work a little larger. I would like to see a little more of it.
Craig Ward has updated with his slick typography skills. You know like nunchuck skills, computer hacking skills. You gotta have skills.
The oh-so-talented Anthony Hurd updates his portfolio with his own special brand of art-design collision awesomeness.
“Original artwork from Los Angeles artist Steven Harrington is featured in the third installment of the Curated by Arkitip series. Influenced by Time-Life Encyclopedias 1965-1972, thrift stores and the 60s pysch sounds of The Moody Blues, his art might be termed ‘contextual objectivism’. That is, each piece is created as a tangible object symbiotically defined of a larger context.”
I posted a couple new bit of work to my print portfolio last week. The first poster was a personal project based on a drawing I did last week. The second, which involves a set of 3 posters that you can view in the print section as well were for my friend and fellow Ctt blogger Aaron Ray and his band Peña. Aaron will be selecting one of the posters to screen print for his upcoming venue on April 11th at the Larimer Lounge. If you are in Denver plan on stopping by to have your socks rocked off. Posters will be available for sale at the show.
Right now I am beginning work on a new illustration style combining pencil drawings with digital finishes. I want to build up an illustration portfolio this year and see if I can start getting some illustration work under my belt.
I am currently seeking freelance work to keep growing as a creative and polishing mys skills so please email me at hire(at)changethethought.com if you are looking for someone for your next project. I am also still looking for someone to represent me for both my illustration and design work. Any help on that would also be greatly appreciate and as always thank you for reading Ctt.
I have mentioned Olly Moss and his work here before but I was notified this week that he is the originator of the old school Penguin book cover/poster idea. He recently put up a new series of movie posters that he intends to print in that same style. To see the full breadth of his work visit his Flickr-folio here.
Remember Gmunk from way back in the day? If you have been a design junky as long as I have, I am betting you do. I have wondered for a while where he has been and what he has been up to and he has just posted a new reel with a new site to follow soon. His work is better than ever and it looks like he has been incredibly busy.
Plans for the 2009 Mad In Spain event have already been set in motion. A long list of designers/artists/illustrators/motionographers etc. has already been posted. Might be a nice excuse to finally get out to Madrid. Stay tuned and visit the MadInSpain site for more.
