Zutto is an illustrator based in Russia who is cranking out some super fun vector illustrations. You can see some of them at her Flickr site but she also has a personal website that you can also view here. Really fun work.

Skizzomat is a Berlin-based illustration and design run studio by Marie Luise Emmermann. Her fashion photo cut-outs arrange body-parts into strange configurations that still uphold something elegant from the original image. You can see her work at both her studio website or at her blogspot website.
Artist and illustrator Andres Guzman has been busy lately and has recently uploaded some wonderful new works to his blog. Originally born in Lima, Peru he spent most of his youth in Denver, Colorado before attending the Minneapolis School of Art and Design to earn a degree in illustration. He’s a talented guy and I would recommend keeping an eye out for him in the future. He has already worked with some big clients. He also has an art exhibition with Justin Renteria Friday Nov. 5th at IndyInk in downtown Denver. The show starts at 7 and runs until 11. You can learn all you need to know about the show at Indyink’s website.
Creative writer Matthew Newton has a great interview up with Sam Green at the moment. He’s one of my favorite illustrators and has been from since he started. He’s an interesting character and seems like a cool guy as well. Newton is doing an amazing job with the interviews at Cpluv and checking back to his column is always a good idea for the design and illustration-inclined. It’s nice to see a serious journalist taking the time to highlight some of our industry’s more unique talent.
British illustrator Ben Newman has some super fun and somewhat retro-inspired work in his portfolio. He also has an online shop of prints available including the excellent print above available at fairly reasonable (in British pounds) prices.
Ashkahn Shahparnia (pronounced Ash-Con-Shaw-par-neeyah) makes fun and funny things. Despite their deceptively simple appearance there is some interesting thinking bubbling cynically just under the surface of all of his work. It’s a funny but provocative affair and he recently updated with all kinds of new goodies, most of which would definitely illicit a response between giver and receiver. I wonder, is Purple Rain made out of Purple Drank?
Straight up weird but fascinating illustrations are pouring from the hand of Tim Enthoven including the above beer drinking hipster dad intellectuals. It’s hard to gather if Enthoven has a real point of view but he does have the chops to put out some curious imagery.
I have been a fan of Milwaukee, Wisconsin based screen printers and illustrators Little Friends of Printmaking for a while now. I just stumbled across their Flickr-folio today and was excited to see a lot of very recent work, much of which renewed my interest in their work. The cycling illustrations are exceptional.
Patswerk is the combination of 3 designers and illustrators based in The Hague. They are producing some fun imagery for a variety of purposes including skateboards, iphone covers, brochures, posters, etc. The best way to see what they are currently up to is to check out their Flickr-folio.
Rob Shields emailed to let us know he has updated with some slick new imagery in his glossy, colorful and glowing body of composited digital illustrations.
Leif Podhajsky has informed us that he has once again updated with more of his unique surreal psychedelic mirrored visions. He’s continuing to explore his current style and it appears that he is still securing album art projects.
Argentinian illustrator Christian Montenegro has a geometric style that still manages to maintain a tangible aesthetic. It’s obviously digital but crafted to feel like it’s touched paper through the hand. There is a bold use of color and fun characters all created in a highly accessible style throughout his extensive portfolio.
Santa Clarita resident and designer/illustrator Bijan Berahimi is cranking out some fun imagery with a hand-crafted touch. He’s also none to shabby at incorporating typography into the visual situation when it’s called for.
Brazilian illustrator Zansky has an almost lithographic/wood block quality about some of his work. It’s very tactile and feels like if you ran your hand across one in print a little ink might rub off on your fingers. There is more than one trick up the Zansky sleeve however as there is also a bit of design peppered in throughout the portfolio.
Liverpool-born illustrator Richard Kilroy draws heavily upon the works of fashion photographers Herb Ritts, David Sims, Jean Paul Goude, Vincent Peters and Mert & Marcus, to illustrators George Stavrinos, Julie Verheoven, Richard Gray and Alphonse Mucha. His drawings mish-mash fashion with abstract art to create something that falls somewhere between the two. This now past summer Kilroy took the role of acting editor launching DECOY: Visual Distraction, a newspaper based primarily on fashion illustration and related areas of interest. He also became commissioning editor of Ponystep.
There are all kinds of fun characters spilling from the mind of Berlin based illustrator Stick-a-thing. The best way to see them all is through his Flickr-folio.
Italian illustrator and designer Alessandro Pautasso has updated with a colorful and stylish new website featuring equally colorful and stylish illustration work. You can also purchase several of the illustrations as prints. It’s an all together slick presentation.
Adidas apparel designer and illustrator Philipp Zurmöhle has updated with some excellent new illustrations since we last dropped in on him. The above illustration is also available as a print at Society 6.
