I was really impressed by the illustrative works of Marumiyan who emailed his work in yesterday. Marumiyan lives in Fukuoka, Japan and works as an illustrator and graphic designer. There is some really striking use of color and composition happening in some of the illustrative work.

Illustrator Kelly Thompson has updated with some really nice illustration work. Her fashion-centric, sometimes art nouveau influenced imagery is spot on and complimented by her subtle but enticing color work.

It’s been a while since I dropped in on Andrew Holder and as far as I can tell, it looks like there is some new work in his portfolio (possibly even a new site). Either way, if you are unfamiliar with his work, it is a special retro-stylized treat.

Jonathan Bartlett has a unique and interesting illustration style. In particular, I am really enjoying the use of space in some of his black and white work but his recently updated book merits a browse overall.
