Mil3n is the work of Budapest, Hungary-based industrial design student Aron Jancso. There is some really nice typographical work the Mil3n Flickr-folio.

I am really digging the latest font release from Font Fabric. The font is called ‘Clou‘ and comes loaded with readily usable personality.
Drew Taylor let me know that he has updated his portfolio at Kid Plastik with some really interesting and colorful typography.
Keep Calm Gallery emailed this morning to inform me of some new prints they have in stock featuring the typographical stylings of Seb Lester. They are really beautiful prints, and if I wasn’t broke I would definitely pick one up myself. One of the prints is really large and I am sure it is beautiful in person. Stunning typography work.
Ray Sison has some nice typography in his portfolio.
Font Fabric has released a new font called Mod that they are offering up to the design Gods for free. It’s a really nice font so be sure to download a copy. Thank you Font Fabric.
Danish student/designer Karina Peterson has some really wonderful type experimentation happening in her portfolio.
C86 has some really interesting typographic studies going on here.
This ‘Words to Work By’ poster set created by agency Publicis Mojo is simply brilliant. It’s the holy trinity of good concept, good design and strong typography merging in a triple kick-punch-leg-sweep.
You can read all about it at Creative Review.
Robbie Powell ecently graduated from Think College Of Design, Sydney, Australia. For having just graduated, he already has some brilliant typographical work in his portfolio.
There is some really great use of typography in the gig posters designed by Chicago-based Nadine Nakanishi and Nick Butcher of Sonnenzimmer. They are very different from the normal gig-poster fare and it’s nice to see a departure from that scene (although I do love me some good ole old school crazy drawn gig-posters).

Jónas Valtýsson emailed last week and I didn’t have time until this morning to write about his updated portfolio. He has some really great work in there including the amazing typographical poster above created by photographing splashing milk. It’s been making it’s way around the blogosphere for good reason.
Thank you for the email Jónas.
Well this will no doubt be blanketing the blogosphere today, design/typographical superheroes Non-Format updated today and the star of the show in their portfolio, no doubt, is the front and back cover of their last art directed issue of Varoom Magazine. The cover was done by their new BFF, Alex Trochut who has completed some really great work under the tutelage of Non-Format. Don’t get too excited though, the update is fairly small but as always the work is hugely fantastic.
Do yourself a favor and go pick up one of these Neighborhood posters from Ork.
Updates in the portfolio of Willowni and wow do I dig the cover shown above for Page Magazine. My undergraduate program was heavily influenced by the Bauhaus and I still consider a big part of my education as founded in the philosophy of the Bauhaus.
James Griffin is offering a free hi-res download of his font ‘Cloak’ at Font Lorry. It’s a pretty slick looking alphabet developed in 3D. I threw together the little layout above just to help you visualize it’s creative potential. Get down on it.
“Cloak was developed for a project that never came to fruition. At first it was only a few letter-forms. It lay dormant for a few months until James re-discovered it and decided to make it into an complete uppercase character set. Cloak is loosely based on the folds and forms of black material. It was produced using 3D rendering and photo-manipulation.”
The typographical illustration work of Sarah King is absolutely insane.
Pomme Chan updates with some really fresh typographical illustration work. There is some really great experimentation happening there coming straight out of the inkwell and right from the graphite tip.
