I know I know, I just wrote about illustrator Grant Coghill not long ago but they guy is keeping himself busy and I am really catching onto what he is laying down. He recently updated yet again with some more striking new imagery that is worth checking out.
There is some nice illustration work represented in the portfolio of Synthoxide known by her parents and loved ones as Kimberly Bicknese.
Ms. Maras Malley has updated with some quite frankly stunning new visuals for some of the biggest clients in entertainment. We are continually taken aback by her inspirational talent. We are all huge fans of her work at our studio. She takes her projects to the next level consistently and raises the bar all the way up to ‘art’. Not an easy thing to do.
Canadian pop illustration and Photoshop wunderkind Rik Oostenbroek has updated with a flurry of neon-colored coolness. His ‘next level’ series pays an homage to the glory days of video gaming and has been rippling through the blog stream for good reason. It looks amazing.
Beautifully moody and slightly washed out photos of attractive people and cool locales are overflowing the Flickrstream banks of photographer William James Vincent Broadhurst.
Sculptor Mauro Perucchetti blends pop and minimalism with a touch of sarcastic wit to help generate some truly exquisite sculptures. I would imagine a personal viewing of his exhibitions would be a memorable experience.
There is some fun illustration work in the Behance portfolio of Italian illustrator and designer Rubens Cantuni and from what I have been hearing lately our friends in the creative industry residing in Italy need as much attention and as many projects as they can get. Hope this post helps.
Pretty sure I blogged about Tee Shirt makers Any Forty somewhere back in the long mythical history of this here blog of lore. But anyway, I recently surfed my way back and was really impressed by some of the recent tees added to their collection. They are a little on the pricey (UK pound) side but might be worth it for hipness sake.
The brilliant author and illustrator Maurice Sendak passed away last week at the age of 83 but will no doubt be remembered for generations to come for his amazing books such as Where the Wild Things Are.
Every once in a while after running a blog like this for several years you get an email in your inbox from someone you have an insane amount of respect for, of course that’s not to say that you also constantly discover people you have an insane amount of respect for but anyway…this week I got an email from one of my all time favorite design and illustration studios La Boca. They have updated their already amazing portfolio with yet more amazing things and it’s a genuinely inspirational browse through their portfolio. So enjoy compliments of La Boca.
I love the pop-horror-infused, fun and tongue in cheek work of illustrator Ray Frenden and he recently updated (or at least since I last dropped in) with more colorful, zobified and horrorific imagery that is crazy fun to sift through.

Nick Dart has some brilliantly understated graphic design work in his portfolio and he recently updated with more (thankfully) of the same. Excellent work.
I am a big fan of Tenacious D and have been for a few years now. Of course I am totally stoked that they are hanging around and their recent album is definitely awesome and this recent video promoting the release of their latest single ‘Rize of the Fenix’ is brilliant.
