Ashkahn Shahparnia has updated yet again with a few more works and has also stocked some new items in his shop. One of those items includes a t-shirt that would definitely provoke and stimulate some conversation.

Yotam Hadar has a really unusual portfolio with some really interesting print work. I almost didn’t know what to make of it at first but the more I looked the more I liked. He is really talented and just takes a very different approach the each project. It appears he really looks to see the forest through the trees and takes in the whole project from a gestaltist perspective addressing all the parts in the process.
Here is a little more on his background from his website:
“Yotam Hadar. Born 1980. Graduate of the Bezalel Academy, majoring in graphic design & typography. Recipient of the Keren Sharet double scholarship prizes (’05–’07) by the America-Israel Foundation.Worked full time with Danny Goldberg Design (’06), Open TBE (’07), and Maariv|nrg (’08). Collaborated with clients, studios and agencies on design projects of various media and scale, from concept to production, including books, catalogues, magazines and other printed matter, branding and Identity systems, websites and interaction design, illustration etc.

The talented people behind Vault 49 relaunched their website this morning and damn does it look sexy. They have several new projects in their portfolio as well. I love that they don’t wait for client projects to experiment and keep working toward generating new ideas. They continually grow their arsenal of illustration techniques.
C100 Purple Haze is a small multidisciplinary design studio based in Munich. They emailed today to let me know they launched a new website. I posted their website to the last version of my blog but somehow never managed to post them to the current version. They have a really impressive body of just flat out rock solid graphic design work.
Mike White recently graduated from Bath School of Art and Design with a BA (Hons) in Graphic Communication. He has a crisp, clean and cracking portfolio of work.
Hu2 generates vinyl stickers to hang around your household. They have some really interesting stuff happening within their catalog and it’s cool that they have created graphics that are meant to live within different rooms and environments in a typical home. Interesting idea.
Jason Drakeford creates music videos, art, design, illustration and photography and is currently employed as an Art Director in Atlanta.
Designer/artist, James Joyce has made some small updates to his lyrical portfolio since I last checked in. I appreciate the simple and bold graphic approach to much of his work. Oh dollar bill, you’re so funny and yet inconsolably evil. Wait, is that irony?
Jonathan Kim is a freelance designer/motionographer with a small but engrossing body of work and is ready at your service for freelance work.
I am really loving this ornamental alphabet poster by typographer Jessica Hische today. Wish I had the cash on hand to pick one up. Beautiful work.
Daniel Swan lives in Brixton, London where he is currently studying graphic design at Camberwell. He takes a very hand-on approach to his design work.
There is a really good body of work in the portfolio of French studio PNTS, not the least of which is a series of really cool geometric symmetrical layouts using old school bodybuilding photographs. Nothing like Arnold in the 70s.
Alba Rosell and Santi Fuster met at ESDI where they studied graphic design. They founded Bendita Gloria in January of 2007.
“Team Here is five designers, Sarah Carr, Caz Hildebrand, Arran Lidgett, Kate Marlow and Mark Paton. Our collective backgrounds include branding, packaging, print and publishing.”
They have some really beautiful work nested within a broad portfolio.
There is some flat out smart and beautiful graphic design happening in the portfolio of Design By Music. The above layout is genius.
And is a Melbourne, Australia-based design studio that has some really slick work in their recently-released portfolio. They were kind enough to email in their work and I was impressed. Good stuff.
Hugo Hoppmann has some really simple but considered work in his portfolio. There is some nice use of typography going on throughout his body of work and it’s pretty impressive considering his tender age of 21 years.
“Young Monster is an art collective based out of Chattanooga, TN, specializing in design and screen-printing.” They have some red hot gig posters in their portfolio. Pure bad ass.
