Justin Blyth is a multi-faceted and multi-talented individual who has also occasionally dropped a post on Changethethought from time-to-time. Lately he has been curating some exceptional tee through Blood is the New Black and running his always inspirational curated image blog Them Thangs. Aside from all of that he still manages to find time to create experimental art and design work. In short, he’s awesome.
Art Director/designer Aaron Melander has worked as a Senior Art Director under some big roofs, like Target and Saatchi and Saatchi. So it should come as no surprise that he has some tasty work happening throughout his portfolio.
Flora Fauna World’s work has been at the center of a few hotbutton creative disputes in the past but despite all of that they still continue to crank out some sincerely kick ass gig posters for some great bands. They have been busy lately and their site has seen a recent update of some excellent new poster work.
One of our favorite KDU-backed black and white pop-culture enthusiast illustrators Josh Vanover sent us word this morning that he had updated his ever-inspiring body of work at Spaceknuckle. New Zealand studio Inhouse Design has updated with some classic and tasty new graphic design for packaging and branding.
The Demian Conrad Design studio is based in Lausanne, Switzerland and recently completed a large project for the Lausanne Underground Film & Music Festival, referred to locally as ‘LUFF’. The project features some unusual posters that when seen through the proper glasses reveal some disturbing images. Demian’s been cranking out some excellent Swiss design work from day 1. Ahh to live and design in Switzerland.
Portuguese type-as-image designer André Beato has some simple but extremely likeable clever typographic layouts in his portfolio that are attracting attention across the creative blogosphere. And those layouts have recently been refreshed.

The ‘State Mottos Project‘ is pulling together designers and illustrators across the U.S.A. to create one-off pieces incorporating the state motto from their designated locale. We begged the curators to let us take on Nebraska, the quirky little heart of America that I and Cartman from Southpark hail from but the space was already taken. Regardless, there are some fun things happening throughout the project as could be expected since the anchoring concept is interesting in it’s own right.
