There is nice work for both print and motion in the portfolio of Zurich 29.
There is some nice things happening in the Photostream of Luke’s Beard. My guess is that his name is Luke and that he has a beard.
Sidenote: My brother’s name is Luke and the reason is because my mother let me name him. I wanted to name him Hans Solo but my mother wouldn’t let me so I settled for Luke Skywalker and she shortened it to Luke. (True story).
The first 50 of these gumball machine prints (for a pretty reasonable $30) from Vault 49, in celebration of their 7th anniversary will feature glow in the dark ink. It’s a perfect addition to any design aficionado’s black-lit bedroom/bathroom.
The folks over at Wish You Were Here emailed me to let me know about their new Patternscape prints last week, and I have forgotten to post it several days in a row now (still no internet at home yet). There are some really cool patterns in there that would probably make an attractive addition to a lonely apartment wall.
Nick Deakin has some really great updates in his illustration portfolio.
These new hand-drawn surface patterns from artist/illustrator Nate Williams are pretty sweet.
I am really digging what Morgan Blair is producing, described as an illustrator but I would call it art.
Naja Conrad Hansen has generated some really great fashion-inspired paintings and illustrations. I would love to see this work in a gallery setting. Great stuff.
There are some really nice new bits and pieces in the Behance-folio of photo illustrator Alberto Seveso. It’s nice to see him exploring new approaches.
There have been some tasty updates in the portfolio of Cocopit since I last dropped in.
Rory Kurtz has new prints for sale not to mention an absolutely stunning body of illustration work. He has a great style.
Justin Wood combines 3D imaging with contemporary illustration techniques to achieve a result that is highly unusual.
Andrea Daquino has some absolutely lovely illustrations in her portfolio.
There is some really fun illustration work in the Flickr-folio of Esther Aarts.
There is some pretty sweet collage work happening in the Flickr-folio of Kraffhics. They also have a really nice zine out that you can purchase for next to nothing. It looks like they put some real love into producing it as well. You can pick up a copy here.
Wow, shit hot, I mean blazingly-kick-ass new work is abounding in the portfolio of Magomed Dovjenko. I was mind-blown. How it is possible that he is self-taught is beyond my imagination. But hey, maybe that is exactly why he is so good.
