“Leif Podhajsky is an artist and designer, co-running AND a graphic design and art direction studio in Melbourne Australia.”
Some of his work will look familiar because I recently posted about And but there is some interesting work in Leif’s book unique unto himself. I definitely appreciate the psychedelic trip he pushes on within his work.
Brooklyn-based artist/illustrator, Lis Timpone has some nice drawings in her blog-folio.
Andrew Vastagh, aka Boss Construction, is a one man design, illustration and screenprint show based in Nashville, Tennessee. And he just launched a new website.
Ian Pfaff’s mutha-fuckin’ demo reel kind of made my entire Monday. A ‘creepy old lady made out of junk with a dildo for a face?’ He’ll build it.
There are some really cleverly illustrated animated gifs in blog-folio of Mark Portillo.
Via Today and Tomorrow.
If you haven’t picked up a copy of Major Lazer’s album ‘Guns Don’t Kill People Lazers Do!’, you might want to reconsider after peeping this pretty sweet little video.

Spencer Lowell has an eye for capturing imagery of strange things and places that just look amazing in still form.
Ricardo Fumanal was born in Huesca in 1984 and did a stint in Barcelona before moving on to Madrid. He has some beautiful drawings, inspired by fashion and film, in his portfolio.
Danny Treacy is a Manchester-born, London-based artist/photographer is a really amazing little photo/art/sculptural project under his belt called ‘Them’.
I can’t really tell you anything about Jesse Corinella other than there being some interesting work at his/her website.
Michael Kosmicki is currently a graphic design student at Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design. He is set to graduate in 2010 and he will have no trouble finding a job because his portfolio shows a level of maturity and consideration well beyond that of most experienced designers. Good stuff.
We Are Not You has updated their portfolio. Work from the prior version of their portfolio has circulated around the design blogosphere quite a bit and they have some equally blog worthy work within their latest update. There are some nice type faces in the typography section of their website. Be sure to check them out.
There is some really unusual work in the portfolio of Sheffield-based Studio Dust. Tiny images of said work, but still worth a browse.
It’s a rare thing that I get to represent my Nebraska roots here but I came across the work of Omaha, Nebraska-based graphic designer Micah Max today and was really impressed by his simple and clean approach to layout.
Tabor Robak isn’t afraid to dive headlong into the skullzone and crank those glow filters and that’s just fine by me. Make it metal and make it shine. Be sure to get up on that sketchbook action too (some fun stuff in there).
The trailor for The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus is now out, as you can see, and it really does look like it holds some real promise as a beautiful film. It is sad to see Heath Ledger one last time on screen knowing that his acting genius is now missing from the movie industry. I will line up to see anything by Director Terry Gilliam though. You can’t miss with his movies as far as I’m concerned and especially not with the cast in this movie.
There is what I could really only describe as a photo-journal in the Flickr pages of Sunny Bunny with the only exception being that each photo is stunning and amazingly composed.
