The talented UK based illustrator Steve Wilson just keeps rocking it and has recently posted some inspiring new work to his site.

I ran across the ink drawings of shit hot talented Jonathan bergeron a week or so back while surfing around FFFFound and low and behold in between hot hipster chicks with big boobs and tattoos was some sincerely awesome pen and ink drawings. You can see lots more at his Behance-folio. Guy’s got skills. Like ‘hand’ skills.
Julien Langendorff is doing the hip, weird, retro, 70s psychedelic collage thing right just when you thought it couldn’t be done right anymore. Well Langendorff will prove you wrong.

This is some amazing work right here from Danil Krivoruchko.
I stumbled upon one of my favorite illustrator’s Flickrfolio today and that illustrator is none other than Jonathan Zawada. Of particular interest was this clever ‘bust’ portrait of Michael Jackson for an unpublished magazine article.
The Fonbureau has put up a nice little micro-site (ugh that term still makes me cringe from my time spent in advertising) for their latest font Neue Haas Grotesk. It’s a genuinely well made typeface that will definitely prove useful. I am picking up a copy myself.
There is some hauteness happening in the portfolio of German motion/animation studio Sehsucht. I think I posted some of their work a while back but their has been some updates including the above Pictoplasma Festival 2012 opener, which is amazing by the way.
“Jägermeister wanted to create a stylised video piece to promote their drinks brand across a range of clubs in Germany. Displayed on large flat screen monitors and digital media throughout various participating venues, the content needed to speak about the brand in a refreshing, energetic way.
Creating something interesting, and quite abstract, whilst simultaneously telling a story was of importance during this project. The finished piece was designed to loop indefinitely, yet it can still be interpreted as a journey through the dimensions of evolution, moments in time and kinetic energy.
Thanks to Angelo Wellens, who spent many late nights helping with the animation. And Henrique Matias for the soundtrack. Created at Hi-ReS!”

The akirA Project is the work of none other than Akira Beard. Not sure who that is or if that is a real name but whoever is responsible for the work in this Flickrfolio is one talented and imaginative human being. It might look messy but it takes a truly gifted hand to master a medium well enough to compose such imagery.
Imaginary Forces is once again cranking some jaw-dropping work for the God of War series of video games. I was incredibly inspired by their previous work for the game and this little preview ups the ante and does not disappoint.
Creative Mornings Portland is a very well executed ongoing video series featuring some excellent interviews and insight into some rare creative talents. This episode features none other than the working class hero designer Aaron Draplin. Enjoy.
There is a wicked cool body of amazingly diversified but consistently good illustration work happening throughout the portfolio of Diego Patino.

Cities stand silently serene forever immortalized in stunning black and white as captured by the remarkable eye of Polish photographer Martin Stavars. Breathtaking images.
Can something be gritty and grungey yet lyrical and approachable all at once? Well illustrator Dustin Holmes seems to be pulling it off.
This is apparently a compilation of works from not just this year but the past two years from the remarkably talented motion studio We Are Seventeen.
